I dont see what CSM and Fanfest has to do with player outreach. We have this forum, we can communicate directly already, there is no need for CSM or Fanfest in this regard. Free skill extractors are better than free corvettes, clones and pods because if skill extractors was free then in the worst case scenario could extract some skill points and sell them to get back on your feet.

This would prevent other ships from becoming obsolete as it could have sub-par mining ability. Additionally, such a ship would provide diminishing returns.
