What happened to the "High Sec Expansion" we were promised?

NS has the shipyards, empire has the fobs, it requires atleast a small team in good ships with lots of logi from what I read on it

Obviously you misunderstand what I’m talking about. I have max skills and no problem surviving the site.

What I’m talking about is the actual site timer not allowing enough time to hack all 4 cans.

In my experience most of the time the site usually expires after hacking the 2nd or 3rd can. That’s why I find it very hard to believe players who say they do those sites all the time and always successfully hack all 4 cans.

Anyway, doesn’t matter. The main point of this thread is that CCP hasn’t delivered the big High Sec Expansion that was promised. Personally I don’t like hearing Expansions are being made specifically for each various sector of space. Going by that, it’ll be years before each specific sector of space get’s any new content added.

well since I do them 4 at 90% of time, I find hard to believe people who say they can’t. I agree that sometimes I only have the time to do 2 of them, but more likely taking time to scan, opening the special can first, not having a mwd, or not warping in cloaked may be what reduces your %rate.

Definitely sounds logical and could easily be the case.

I don’t warp in cloacked, I don’t use MWD, I go for special can first, still 3/4 times I do all 4 cans. :sunglasses:

I run these sites in my combat exploration Phantasm, don’t have spare mid slot to fit a Cargo Scanner, so I go for special can first, as it usually holds half the sites loots, even though it may shorten time limit I go and grab it first. Traveling between cans is what taking most of the time in the site, and Phantasm has nice ~1400m/s AB speed. Can explosion strips shield off If I’m not careful getting out in time though, but half armor is the worst I got from rats so far.

Got out to Hjoramold the other day, theres Contested Minmatar Legendary Stronghold a COSMOS site. 40+50 respawning hackable cans, lots of respawning rats you have to kill while hacking. Wish there were more sites like that. Wish common data/relic sites escalated to guarded harder to scan and hack sites. Wish combat sites randomly had a can or 2 to hack. That’d be fun… for me.

There’s actually quite a few different static Cosmos Complexes like that. Those sites are mainly for Cosmos Agent missions. The Agents and those Complexes are located in various High sec systems of the 4 main Empire Factions as well as in Low and Null sec too.

In my experience the cans explode after the timer runs out, so unless you have proof like a video everything you have said debatable.

And yes I’ve done them before many times.

They have nothing in common but having cans to hack. 30 I think in the cosmos.

This part is about Limited Covert Research sites aka highsec Ghost sites, we talk highsec, right? @Luigi_mon-de-sound In my experience cans do explode after timer runs out too. After, you know… sometimes its a half a minute to a minute after I left the site. What ship do you use? Do you mwd between cans?

This part is about COSMOS site I visited and found amusing, and expressed desire to see more like it elsewhere. Did it to stay on topic, cause ghost site discussion here seems a bit off. Those are separate paragraphs, I thought it will be clear enough that they describe different stuff.

It was clear to me, I’ve completed both Cosmos and Ghost sites.

That’s why I left the link listing most of the Cosmos Complexes, in case you wanted to check out some of the other Complexes.

For lowsec I think Concord should be absent and not save you in the belts, but the gates and stations should have a few sentry guns that fire on aggressors. A ā€œnoobā€ or whatever would have to tank longer or evade or fight back to survive, but it would be a slower rescue from the NPC sentry guns than Concord. Also, if a bomb damages a gate in lowsec, the Navy should cyno in and kill the aggressor. These changes would make lowsec more palatable.
