Neither Dreadnoughts nor Battleships have seen active service in many decades, nor were they good at dealing with smaller vessels, their primary role being long range fire support. There’s a reason both classes are obsolete.
The closest equivalent today would be a carrier group, with the emphasis on group as Aircraft Carriers never sail alone; not that a carrier group fulfils the function of either a Battleship or a Dreadnought.
No one said they SHOULD be like Real World ships, but without a clear idea what the OP wants, this is just pointless.
If they could decide on something, then there would be a discussion here, but there isn’t. The OP wants indestructible megaships that only the Donut can afford or tolerate in existence.
