The purpose of the EVE Online forums is to provide a platform for exchange of ideas, and a venue for the discussion of EVE Online. Occasionally there will be conflicts that arise when people voice opinions. Forum users are expected to courteous when disagreeing with others.
In order to maintain an environment where everyone is welcome and discussion flows freely, certain types of conduct are prohibited on the EVE Online forums. These are:
I feel that the only purpose of an Eve storyline should be as a backdrop to the larger player driven storyline that should predominate. The real âfailure cascadeâ of Eve is when the playerâs own storyline becomes so weak that CCP have to keep propping things up with ever more new âcontentâ that becomes the entire game itself rather than being merely the stage for player driven events.
OMFG Bro⌠(Gloria) i finally agree with something you said totally. Player driven content! Like for example, CCP took away our ability to fight our own wars for power and tried to replace it with factional warfare. Good addition to the game, but never should be the enforced alternative. I want to fight for MYSELF or the MAN i work for, i give no chits about some NPC conflict. Im so proud of you right now lol.
(CCP, you need to watch Asmongold videos and save this game)
But what for?? That is strange behavior. If it is for trolling then some people need to get a job or volunteer to help people with that free time.
Otherwise, it is very sad.
Thank you for clarifying.
Sneaky. Some people have too much time on their hands.
I donât know the Frostpackers but at leat if he does it openly then that is honest.
Agreed some people are odd like that. I only use one character to post on the forums since I play EVE, this one.
The Frostpacker is a different case in my opinion (and odd for different reasons ) as each of his characters is a different persona for his roleplay. And yes agree with what you wrote, he is open about it so he is honest.
Agreed. Some people seem consumed by their own mindset or some other oddity, some of those by their hatred, the latter of which is extremely odd to see during the holiday season.
The sad part is such haters suffer from their own mindset. However they can only blame themselves for that. It is only they themselves who can change their own ways if they want to feel better and live a healthier life. Hopefully they can accomplish just that and maybe get help as well if they are willing to accept it.
Yes most cases, for the exceptions when he is actually rude to women and other such objectively bad behavior.
I agree but I could not tell what these people are pushed to be odd by, there are so many different personalities and cultures out there. Some of them also like to dominate and be violent while doing so. Those I tend to be very careful with or literally avoid, and the fact that there is a holiday doesnât seem to phase them.
I donât think I have met a man who hasnât been rude to a woman at one point or another. I think that masculinity facilitates some verbally brute behavior, just in the amount of cursing or spewing some inappropriate idea. I cannot fault it though. We women can be just as vicious if not more.
