Well, I’m really efficient and good at what I do, so out of the 8 hours, I spend 5-6 of them browsing reddit/x/imgur/email/TMZ/Eve Forums all day. My meme libraries are glorious.
Is the game really dying or is it a meme?
I mean, there are thousands of players online and CCP seems to be a big company. How many games do they have? There is also Vanguard that I see on the launcher although I don’t know the details about it.
EVE is dying an honorable death.
EVE tried the consoles and got burned, because the console environment is ultra toxic.
We got planet bombardment for a time, got excited, then it was gone…
luckily for us the two stayed separated otherwise Eve could have died for real…
X Sony america and all those bubble bubble bursters are the worst.
I feel EVE needs more skills, but also a story mode, something like Massive effect…
An Eve spin off, without planet bombardment interaction… but something everybody can enjoy
for free as an Alpha, and then Omega gets all kinds of missions Alpha dont get…
Others don’t get this honor, and their deaths are absolutely dreadful.
More accounts restrictions, more GPU restrictions, Ray tracing… DLSS…
Games like movies, 99% FPS… It’s a miracle Eve has not wasted everything with a 1st
person shooter… and gamers are tired… young guys probably wants more direct competition
and Eve can not provide all of that excitement… multiple factors, one answer is too simple,
perception changes with age, environment change, and when greedy publishers
decides to push the suicide button…

I feel that the only purpose of an Eve storyline should be as a backdrop to the larger player driven storyline that should predominate. The real ‘failure cascade’ of Eve is when the player’s own storyline becomes so weak that CCP have to keep propping things up with ever more new ‘content’ that becomes the entire game itself rather than being merely the stage for player driven events.

OMFG Bro… (Gloria) i finally agree with something you said totally. Player driven content! Like for example, CCP took away our ability to fight our own wars for power and tried to replace it with factional warfare. Good addition to the game, but never should be the enforced alternative. I want to fight for MYSELF or the MAN i work for, i give no chits about some NPC conflict. Im so proud of you right now lol.

A government owns CCP? I didn’t know that governments were in the gaming industry. Which government? And how much of CCP does it own?
Multiboxing is using a program to play several characters at the same time, right? If so, isn’t that kind of cheating?
How can anyone tell if it is going to fail?

When we undock the gwankers dock up and runaway like roaches! Proof!
No problem. Some people use alts on the forums if you haven’t noticed yet.
The Frostpackers do it openly and transparently as part of their roleplay while others without admitting it.

Agreed some people are odd like that. I only use one character to post on the forums since I play EVE, this one.
The Frostpacker is a different case in my opinion (and odd for different reasons 
) as each of his characters is a different persona for his roleplay. And yes agree with what you wrote, he is open about it so he is honest.
