As long as you realize it’s a slow and steady race to the top, you’ll be fine. Don’t expect to have the 30 billion worth of BPOs and the 50 million SP that is the midgame for building at a substantial living overnight.
If you want to build for PLEX, take some time to read blogs and watch vlogs before jumping in.

A long time ago some enterprising player did a data scrape of the most commonly destroyed modules (using zkill) and from that he (or she) had a good indication of things to make and move to places that they would be bought. No, I don’t have that data but it did drive me to become an industrialist for almost a year.

Cutting material costs might help, I don’t know if it’s still the case but there’s modules that were worth more than their market value when reprocessed for minerals.
When I was running my industry character I used to buy them up in bulk to boost my margins.

If you use 1 account you need to do what gives you the easiest means. If you have a great possibility to grab several missions and do them in sequence over and over, that’s a start. Later on if you find a good alliance that can get you into ratting, that’s also something and alliances often have some ops together as well and means for people to help each other out with escalations etc…
The best way to start however is what can give you isk immediately without having to worry about logistics, refining, etc… that stuff would be handy later.
I have just 1 active Omega and still don’t know how I keep getting so much isk when I see next to zero combat.
L4 is a isk proven path, you just gonna slave yourself and turn into a coward afraid of Safety, but if you never did it, go for it.
No point explaining stuff, people need to experiment by themselves.
