Looks like the water rush moved from fore to aft, smashing the hull and its contents against the rear dome. The submarine sent a message that they had released two weights, probably to slow down the descent, and a few seconds later it was gone. The water jet pushed out the glass missing from the porthole on the forward dome and the tail cone just detached but was left largely undamaged, held together by a ratchet strap.

I think Ralph Lauren dancing with the Senorita would make the video that much better, especially when the horns started playing near about half-way.

(BTW, Don Quixote is the character and âhidalgoâ is his title, his love interest was Dulcinea del Toboso (Dulcinea of Toboso, a hamlet back then and nowadays famous because of the Quixote) and his servant and buddy in misadventures was Sancho Panza (Panza is a surname, literally means âbellyâ, specially a large one. The Quixote is full of sarcasm and irony. Alonso Quijanoâs (aka Don Quixote) horse Rocinante gets its name from rocĂn-antes (before (it was) a nag, a useless horse. Which of course the poor beast keeps being for all the story, carrying its own and Don Quixoteâs old bones all over the placeâŠ)

So far the city is being maintained, but as soon as that stops itâs going to become quite a messed up place even if rising sea levels donât turn that spot back into a mangrove as it used to be.

And the sooner the better. Mankind had its shot and we blew it. Time for Nature to take over before the morons bathe the whole planet in radiations.
It was decades ago when I realized that we wonât destroy this planet no matter what. Our survival is not granted, but life on Earth? Weâre a minor issue, a glitch in the system.
