What Would a Safe Zone Actually Hurt?

Right, so to help the new players, we introduce anti-ore and space minefields.

you know it’s bad when aiko pull out the EULA rules

I’ve suggested this several times in the form of another PVE server where new players can learn and get used to the game before they throw themselves into the meatgrinder… Lol…

You can hunt belt rats in Highsec.

Do you need more practice?

Ask Ultima Online how that worked out.

There are already 1.0 systems where it is against TOS to grief people.

well grief less than 30 day old pilots.

Technically, since it’s allowed by the EULA, it’s NOT griefing.
Miners are supposed to be hunted.
Ganking is intended gameplay.

That’s the game.

Hey let’s go for a date.

No it’s not, it’s definitely you.

Eve is shaping up to be the last game available where free for all mentality / madmax in space, is the whole idea/design behind it.

If people need a safe space to be in, within a sci-fi environment, there are other game titles out there that could suit their needs.

Elite Dangerous, No Mans Sky etc …

Feel free to check those out before going on a “me me” quest about some other game …

Who’d have thunk it ? I mean…its precisely why there are no gate guns, faction guns, etc in asteroid belts and miners already get hunted by NPCs. When people talk about a ‘safe’ highsec, they always forget that it would be unsafe even without gankers. In fact a quick look through killboard shows that way more noob Ventures are lost to NPCs than to gankers.

People whine to CCP about noobs being ganked…yet the single biggest ganker of noobs is CCP themselves via those NPCs. The irony.

Newbie zones are already protected. New bros have to leave for the hard real world sometime.

So, you guys don’t like the idea of anyone being safe, anywhere?

The fact is, you’re “safe” in your Catalysts, because they’re not working killing.

You’re disingenuous. You want people flying expensive, defenseless ships because you’re too lazy to work to build anything.

It’s just easier to take from others.

Everyone needs to learn to take responsibility for their own safety. Once one learns to be safe, then one can be safe all the time.
