What happened to Omega less 20$, 25% or even 50% with no extra meaningless nonsense, just great value? Now you get Omega less 15% with some skin that has 0% value to me at all. And before some firum troll goes “you can sell it for ISK”, if I wanted to “buy” ISK I ould buy PLEX.

Yeah I just bought 3 months and I saw the launcher and for 10s I thought “I screw up”.
Then I realized it’s CCP shenanigans and I felt good with myself again.

Well yes i would say you screwed up. Never buy gametime directly. Use a discount chain through PLEX at least.

Always wait for summer sales, that’s when they offer the biggest discounts.
You should also try to stack discounts, buy PLEX when that’s discounted and sit on it until omega time in the in-game store gets discounted. PLEX also has the benefit that you can transfer it to and from alt accounts to give them omega as needed.
From my point of view, this not the game at fault here. You need to understand, I am an alpha casual player, and never spent any money on the game. When I start up playing any “Free to Play” game, I know there are always unspoken or hidden costs. I take time to inspect it.
I prefer the “Buy to Play” model, yes there are item malls or some monthly item they want you to buy as well. However this model keeps a lot the idiots out that otherwise over populate the server with spam and bots. Back in the day, I paid in $50 to start playing the first Guild Wars but over time I spent about $500 in addons, costumes, and other DLC. When Black Desert dropped their basic package to only $10, I bought in over there. Yet again, I have spent hundreds over time on the DLC.
I was very much experienced with online games, by the time I was invited to play here with a friend. I made one account and started by having my grand daughter make up my 3 characters while I read a good book. I was told the AFK training process would take about a month or more to get even a basic character up to snuff. I set my character to skill train for a month while I took a break.
My friend stopped by and asked why I wasn’t playing. I told him, I am training. I eventually did start playing and 6 months later bought my first station. About 3 months later it got blown up. I find Eve Online free to play very relaxing perhaps too relaxing. I still jump on once in a while to mine, haul, PvE, or get blown up.
Financially speaking, this game fails to market their DLC well enough to make money off of players like me. As you can see, I bought clothes here with ISK. Not much of a point, when our 3D characters only appear as 2D icons in game. That much is the fault of this game. If they had more 3D interaction, then I could get more into spending.

The “discount PLEX” route is more expensive, you realise that right? I get it, ou buy the PLEX special at a discount rate and then buy the Eve Store discount Omega with the PLEX but go and calculate the actual values and then you will see it is not a discount at all.
Great you are a “free to play player” so why do you post on a post about specials on Omega time which you don’t buy? I am talking about stop giving me Omega + BS for less 15% when specials use to be just Omega for less 20% or even 25%. I don’t care about what payment model of a game you prefer and it makes me think you don’t even get what I am talking about here.
We know exactly what youre talking about. Youre wanting something that CCP is simply not offering but you want it anyway.
My suggestion is to wait a couple more months during the summer and take advantage of the discounts offered then. Theres usually a dip in the population and theyll throw some deals out there to capture folks again.
Thats the best you can do. If they offer a skin with it…then so be it.
