When does Earth reunite with New Eden?

Do you want to deploy a Metenox Moon Drill there, or are you actually concerned about the local culture, birds, whales, fresh food, and all that?

Ah - got it. So no humans.

There are humans, but the cloned dinosaur population has really gotten out of control. Since they are an endangered species after all, no hunting dinosaurs under penalty of death.

Have fun!

I hope it does eventually. It’s a massive untapped content.

The next great and major update to EvE Online would be reuniting with Earth. I doubt if Earth gave up on the lost colonists. More than likely, where the location of the wormhole once existed, location beacons were set up. Maybe even a very large station trying to open the wormhole back up.

Hopefully. Earth isn’t discovered to be abandoned due to many wars. After the Earth was lost, the entire remaining human civilization-built stations around the wormhole and solar systems close by and never gave up on the wormhole emerging close by.

will be the introduction of NFT spaceships, a sort of quantum field that ensures the tracking of ownership of a specific hull.

If anyone has conceptual art for a station around or near the Eve Gate, ships and factions, let’s see them. Or introduce them to a gaming company as a counter to Eve Online. Then watch the fur balls fly.

Here’s some ‘conceptual art’ for a station at the other side of the EVE gate:

I can also list a number of factions, but I think that might break forum rules.

I don’t know man. 15.000 years is a long time, and earth has not made any contact since then. Supposedly, they were already miles ahead of anything that you see in EVE today, and if things went well on their end, then they would have even further developed their technology. Earth would know where New Eden is, and I’m telling you, in that timespan, they would have developed the technology to make contact with us.

So the fact that they haven’t, means very bad things. The last known contact from earth was the gateway exploding and tearing apart, despite all the safety measures it had. Ship wreckage being there suggests, that it was not a planned detonation either. What is so powerful that can blow up a gateway like this? That is the question at the heart of things. And I’m betting, it wouldn’t have stopped at just the EVE gate. Earth got dusted for sure. Maybe the entire milky way got turned into dust, and we’re the only survivors left, because we were so far away from where it happened. Anything could be possible!

Guys, someone say something so I don’t look like the biggest nerd ever!

Yeah - some awfully good science fiction needs to be written to address the lack of contact with New Eden if the Earthers maintained an unbroken 15,000 year technology arc. Or something profoundly dull like they never encountered any evidence that could lead to New Eden.

You’re the biggest nerd ever.
