I’ve noticed a lot less gankers, suspect hunters, etc, hanging around outside Dodixie of late. Two or three years ago the space outside Dodixie would be swarming with people. These days I pop down there a few times a week for suspect hunting and the space outside is practically deserted.
I was cracking open bio reward crates today.
Thank you CCP for making multiple hacks a reality, by the way. Opened 17,000 of them over the last few days.
Back to the topic. I looked at my hangar load and saw way more than a thousand separate items:
When did this change? OP must be thrilled.
Mr Epeen
I don’t think they have changed that, it is still limited to 1000 stacks at least at Dodixie.
Few more drawbacks for having items in containers:
- they can’t be repackaged
- they can’t be sold
- they can’t be used for purchases in the LP store
- they can’t be used for refitting
for any of this to happen they have to be moved first to the items hanger.
I don’t buy the “server request upon entering the station” excuse given above, because as soon as we log in the game and open the personal assets window, the game knows where ALL my items are,
There is one very good system in place that can be applied to the hanger, and that’s the market system, that orders the items based on their categories. A version of that system is used with the fitting window although it is limited to the category “Ship equipment”! I wish we can use that for the hanger too and then on top we can apply the filters!
The game can sort the items in the hanger by type, so basically it is almost there.
If you send me a billion isk I will allow you to use one of my characters to store an additional 1000 items.
Why would I do that when you are worse than a container and I have 5 more characters, each of which can do it for free?
Once they implement this and combine it with this
I will stop doing the wasteful moving of items back and forth which actually puts more strain on their servers.
