I can think of no logical reason whatsoever for it having to be one or the other.
Iâd say itâs probably a bit of both, depending on what day of the week it is, what socks I am wearing, what the weather is like outside and whatâs on TV.

Unless there is a 3rd demographic, the NS new character attrition rate in NS can ONLY be either from alts, or genuine new players.
As such, as their are only two demographics, one of them must be in majority.

What if itâs 50/50, or close to it? Can you call 51/49 a majority? What if theyâre all actually penguins? Who knows? Who cares? Once again, youâre just arguing for the sake of arguing. You need a hobby.
Itâs probably a majority of alts where nul is concerned, but that doesnât discount the fact that newbies are going to nulsec and not in small numbers. Pandemic Horde loves newbies, and I canât think of a nulsec organisation that doesnât love some cannon fodder. Also, more than a few explorers testing their mettle, no doubt.
In my opinion, youâre making a big fuss over a statistic that isnât very significant, anyway. Arguing for the sake of arguing. Idiots doing idiot things because theyâre idiots.

Yeha, so, for the record, I never got banned from anything.
I started playing this game in 2012. Specifically, April 12. I remember because I discovered the game 8 days after my fiancee was murdered. Before I met her, I struggled all my life with autism, spent almost a year homeless, pulled myself out of the gutter to get two bachelorâs degrees, a masterâs, and my private pilotâs license. My life was amazing, then I met Chloe, and it was perfect, and after building my entire life around spending it with her, she was murdered. Fun times. Then in my grief, in my nothing, I stumbled across EVE, and if it wasnât for this game, I probably would have topped myself.
After a few years playing EVE and gradually putting my life back together, last year, I decided I was ready to try something big again, and started studying for my commercial pilotâs license. So I havenât had much time for gaming at all. The practicals, the theory, the gear I needed to buy on a pension, and then, very recently, I started a new CAREER as a commercial copilot for a regional route that I fly twice a week. I earn 101K now. I got here from nothing, from the gutter, and this game helped me do it. This game was there for me. So as you can imagine, I have quite the investment in this game, not just a financial one. So yeah, Iâll defend what it was for me when I first subscribed until Iâm black and blue. I have something to argue for.
Youâre just arguing for its own sake. And in my experience, when people do that, itâs because theyâve never had any real problems in their life.
Given what Iâve had to deal with in my life, itâs very important that you understand you and your little opinions, Salvos, are even less than meaningless to me. They are irrelevant. Your little video, that was just hilarious.
