Where are the players?

I have a poor attitude towards self made victims.
Not the health of this great game.
Which was just fine before people constantly cried about the “meanies :(”

If you want to see players, go to Jita and high security.

Ship spinning is playing the game, don’t be such an elitist undocker!

ship spinning has a counter so clearly a part of the game, what’s your high score ?

Clearly it’s sub-100

Why do they get to have nice things and keep them? Spinning?

"Stations should have timers while sitting in a ship just like the Cloak change"

After 15 mins of sitting and spinning the Ship auto undocks!

You mean the game was just fine BEFORE it launched. People have been complaining about “meanies” for near on my whole Eve career, 17 years.
Bob, PL/NC, Goons, code, even Test (to name a few) have all been publically named and shamed as “meanies” and most of them thrived on the label.

Sorry but Eve has not been a “healthy” or “great” game for many years. YOUR game however may well be, there is a difference.

I suddenly got the itch to play EvE again, after years of absence.

Then I noticed they are charging me the same 15 dollars that 1st worlders pay, which means I have to pay 80+ of my currency to play for a month.

Literally every single other MMO has adjusted prices for the 3rd world to account for different earning/purchasing power, except for EvE.

So, in my case, it’s a financial decision. I can sub to three other MMOs of my choice for the price of 1 EvE account, or get a brand new AAA game for the price of two months of EvE (thanks to Steam also having seen the light years ago and adjusting their prices - again, except for EvE).

If CCP woke up and started charging reasonable prices for my area of the world, I’d probably sub both of my accounts to play again. Since they haven’t done so, and likely won’t ever, then I’ll just stay away.

the same level of absurdity as an adult man playing video games…

Mines not so good but I met someone who had spun theirs over fifty thousand times, they even had screenshots.
What pisses me off is I forget who it was and don’t know if I bookmarked the screenshots.

Hopefully it would be the same day bombs were allowed there.

I don’t know about that, it’s pretty great even if it makes me bitchy at times.
I accomplish just enough in Eve to know that the next time I stab a toaster with a fork it’s going to turn out different. Then I’m proven wrong and have to try again.
Anyone who makes a game that feels like that has to know what they are doing.

I found a spot that looks safe to mine today.

Anyone wish to come join me?

edit, there are many active players in New Eden and sometimes we need to go out of or safety zone to find them.

On fire. Reload…

Maybe you were so good at finding PVP content you killed them all and won the game?
Go get yourself a Snickers bar. You deserve it.

Where are the players?

According to some people here, if players aren’t online during PCU, then they’re not counted…

Going back to the OP, I did noticed that wormholes have been increasingly empty over the past couple of years to the point where it is far safer to transport goods with almost reckless abandonment through a wormhole chain of 3-4 systems than to take a calculated risk with recon through a low-sec run. This includes an increasing number of systems with no citadels at all.

I can only speculate as to why this is the case. I know in my own case I was living in a wormhole with a few others and ended up getting evicted, initially by some trashy null bastard with his dozen alts, until we decided to contact a few “friends” and let loose lips mention a citadel that was going to be attacked by a fleet of spider tanked domnis, and it would be such a shame if somebody were to, oh I don’t know, be told when the citadel would be vulnerable to attack. Oh, and the location to the wormhole in question and wouldn’t it be a shame if somebody were to discover this fleet and invite themselves over. The resulting ‘battle’ if you could even call it that, was more of a feast of said potato fleet. Moved with a nullsec group of good fellas and now I just don’t touch the game because there’s been too many annoying changes so I’ll go play one of the many other games I have.

To finish the “…” and complete what they’ve actually been saying - “as part of the PCU”, which is correct.
