Why am I not on this ship. I wanna captain my ship

Eve was the big idea for a space game back in the early 2000s. I’m looking back at the years I had in eve, just poking around in my spaceship. Eve needs more and more content and it has been my daydream for awhile now. I daydream about how eve could be.
The commodity market for example, used to be the place to grab extra isk hauling stuff around. Stations were stocked with commodities that you could move around and earn isk transporting it to other stations.
Now I’m in null sec day d/reaning that eve universe was so different. a place full of npcs looking to get a ride in my space ship that I take them places. For example I could pick up a mission agent in high sec and deliver them to our area in null. Or I could deliver farmers to send down on planets to farm, hunters to hunt, marines to capture bases and steal Planetary industry and loot. Food to feed my marines, with missions in high sec to deliver food and obtain recipes for food that might require you to put a ship on an ocean planet and catch some fish. I want food that improves my skill for an hour or two or my learning process. We need to get cool mission bonuses as a frigate doing level 1 missions. The game economy should give up about 30 million in bonuses after about 5 missions. This in loot or commodities or components needed for blueprint production. How about some content for frigates in null that sets them defending the system or doing pve while waiting around, instead of waiting at the gate. We need content that gets players wanting to recruit somebody to do something, for example omber pockets in a mission makes you want to find a miner to get it all out of there. A box that needs to be hacked, might get someone else wanting that content.

How many players are going broke from loosing ships? Did you have to downgrade to a frigate? It can happen to anyone if your not careful out there.
I wanna captain the eve ship. I need to steer it in a good direction. This game was one of my ideas once when I was young and craving a new gaming experience, i wrote it down somewhere but lost it. I was a big idea guy who set ideas into motion by delivering it to the universities and setting a ball rolling into motion. I was the guy behind facebook, minecraft and possibly this game too. We had the same idea anyways. We are making putting money into a machine fun. That’s the path.

Nah, man. This game is all about ships… or more precisely about losing ships, that’s all, dude.

I don’t think your idea was to have the players constantly lose.

We need to stand for better insurance and golden pods that have 5 uses and cost 10 plex. Keeps my implants going, let me juice up on some booster that improves my learning. Where are my millions going anyways. If I loose my ship, I will die and that’s all there is to the game. If you want a nice comeback you gotta pay up and learn up. Such a frustrating game needs to have good recourse, like chasing down someone who just killed you using a locator agent. Someone might use that on me now.

This game needs to have pods that explode with the ships and the players can’t play for a month. CCP is too chicken to ever do that, of course.

Nah, it’s more fun to have the players wait 6 months for skills then blow up in 3 seconds.

Your millions are going to “taxes”, taxes in a game :rofl:
This whole game is Pay, Pay, Pay and Pay some more… Like people play games to remind them how much real life sucks, lol.

No, you just get plowed and you’re supposed to tell yourself “it’s my fault” Godam right it’s your fault for playing a lose-lose game.

Doesn’t matter, you will die.
They say 2 things are guaranteed in life: death and taxes… Same thing for EVE, but they call it a “game”, lmao.

You are clearly having a laugh. Even in the worst possible Venture fitting ( which you can get for free in agent missions ) you can mine enough for a destroyer within a few hours. And…if the worst comes to the worst anyone can buy Walletanium…aka PLEX…and have 100m ISK for about 55 pence. That’s if their bank manager will allow an overdraft on such a huge amount

I am far from being all that well off, but I evidently have a better grasp of money management than you do. This game is not sometimes called spaceships and spreadsheets for nothing.

The bank manager at my bank allowed an overdraft early this year. I meant to sue over it because I wasn’t allowing overdrafts on my account. Now I owe a collection agency.

We got T0 and T1 Abyss for T1 frigs, which are fun missions, that we didn’t have before.
There is stagnation in making new missions otherwise fun and diverse, and I welcome
new ideas and changes. I get your daydreaming probably requires a change in the game engine
also, or the integration of Squadron 42 mechanics in the PC counterpart. Probably Someone is thinking about some future merge for the mobile Eve in the Pc-verse, with more storylines that could be single player also, but with complexity there is entropy, lags, disconnections…
I imagine it would be cool if players could set up missions like agents, in NPC stations, with handsome rewards, instead all contracts are about ship this X here for X amt of isk, and that’s it…

We have Strip dancers, marines, spiced wine, and mad scientists, and yet there is nothing
we can do with those… maybe with the breacher pod things will change… idk…

Anyway I like to ear stories that are made of the stuff of dreams. Keep dreaming.

Try using manual piloting.
