That’s two different things. There is hating your job, and there is hating loosing your job. And those who hate their job are often also the type who hate losing it. While those who love their job will feel sad over losing it, but they then don’t hate it and instead draw hope from it, to find a new job they will love just as much.
I’m bailing out of this discussion. I don’t think that you haven’t made these experiences yet to talk about it.
My thinking being, the like system is rewarding to those behaving poorly. Sure for people who make good posts and replies it’s the same however if by removing a reward system can decrease the satisfaction trolls get from posting and possibly decrease the number of trolls why not give it a go? Not saying it’s a complete fix, just saying something is better than nothing.
Dude, you’re just trolling now. People hate losing what they love, period.
Get over it, other people are a capable to joke about losing a job they love as a mean to overcome that potential pain. Your inability to understand it doesn’t denies the fact.
You were wrong to cryticize Falcon for joking about losing his job if EVE shuts down.
No, not “Ok, but”. Either you agree to disagree or I’ll ignore you. You’ve said a few times now that you have a different opinion. If you cannot let it go then I’ll have to think you’re crazy. I can certainly criticize @CCP_Falcon for making stupid jokes. And I am right in expecting to see him say something such as missing his job and to miss us. There is nothing wrong about it. You don’t get to tell me what I can and cannot say. Now go and suck it up.
No. I’m not. I want to see him as a good community manager who can still show an appreciation for the people who he is working with. If this appreciation no longer exists, then I have to think of him as a bad community manager.
I am just telling you that you are wrong so you have a chance to live the enrichign experience of learning that you were wrong and why and how you are wrong, so you learn what is right and improve your awareness of reality by doing so.
OTOH, if you feel threatened by cognitive dissonance… well, you’re up to some interesting times in your life.
