Lol…well I can’t say I wasn’t warned about the level of paranoid toxicity on this forum.
I can understand that, going about in a blockade runner in high sec is rather surreal with how gankers swarm on you, and persist in pursuit, well past any low or null sec gate camp I have ever encountered. But I’ve never had issues with anything else except perhaps SBs delivering torps about low and high sec.
If you’re going to make stuff up at least make it sound believable.
Are you in null sec?
I mean is it our fault you lose track and slip up every couple of posts?
Uh wut. What in the malarky is this.
Are you in null sec?
Lol…of course it simply never occurs to you that the ‘slip up’ arises from your own BS conspiracies not conforming with reality.
I have literally no idea what you are talking about. One time I lost a BR at the Jita undock because I got distracted. Other than that I have never once been targeted, followed, or swarmed in hi sec in a BR, and I’ve never heard of anyone else having that happen either. The entire point of a BR is to never be seen. And that is with being wardecc’d 100% of the time.
Except (and I am not angry about this) I am not a noob. I ran a 40 man lowsec outfit exploiting moons before they killed passive moon mining. We had a good thing going on but it was… I want to say nerfed but heck, it got outright deleted
So my corp fell apart. That stuff was the backbone of everything as we fed the corp fleet with those funds: we mostly did PVP with the occasional haul to offload our stuff to a client. Nobody wanted to do PVE so that was our “out” at the time. We were never going to actively mine stuff. We did not even have the skills!
I just want to be clear it’s not a matter of just being indecisive, but seeing the empire you built up over 5 years being deleted overnight was demotivating as all hell. I ran with nullseccers and wormholers afterwards, and frankly I was surprised what lengths people are willing to go through to do slightly more rewarding PVE.
What I ran into is the realization that I cannot play the cool parts (PVP) without the sucky parts (PVE) unless I pull my P2W wallet. I logged in last week, bought some PLEX with remaining ISK, did ONE mission and remembered immediately why I quit a year ago.
So it’s more like… I did everything and most of it sucked, so what now?
Try ganking.
…
Ha ha, thanks for the suggestion! I’m not sure if that’s for me though, I’m the kind of guy that can slog through Khanid for 3 hours looking for a lone overtanked Procurer to dismantle. Just for the thrill of him perhaps not being alone, you get the idea. I’m not the kind of guy that nuts after 20 seconds or whatever time CONCORD requires to prematurely ejaculate me from my ship, I take my time to make love to peoples ships. The PVP part of the game is not to my disliking still, even when solo is a bit questionable. Robbing ESS is fun though!
I’m under the impression ganking is only profitable on the group/Freighter level. Might be mistaken though, as I’ve not played in hisec for years.
It’s the ISK making that irks me after so many years. I have some PI set up but that doesn’t cover a monthly PLEX. But then I also realize complaining I cannot “play for free” is somewhat silly, only countered by the idea I already paid CCP quite some RL money over the years. It’s just that I remember ISK making to not be such a chore but then again aren’t all games subject to boredom out of familiarity?
I like to think of myself as a “retired pirate”. It’s just that I still find myself forking over 1.4B for a month instead of playing Elite Dangerous or something like that. Merely because I know from experience Eve has the potential for interesting human interactions as opposed to themepark MMOs or mobile crap like Albion.
I’m ranting, I should go.
I’m in Hisec, for the most part, because I’m too lazy to fill out an application, in triplicate, to join one of the free and easy, fun loving Null Sec corps.
Oof and then trynna gas light.
Not a good look for you homie.
Try ganking.
Please don’t forget to take a selfie with you in front of the login screen of every account you own, and submit it alongside a photocopy of your passport.
We look forward to having you pay ratting taxes and fight in our wars for us!
Why don’t you fit a disposable pvp cruiser, yeet yourself into null with a filament. Wreck as much havoc as possible before you ride the clone-express back home?
That is a great idea.
The only downside is forcing my wimpy side to get out of the training clone.
I’m in LowSec but I also need to be in HiSec to make isk off the market in Amarr & Jita.
"While many null and lowsec groups have very demanding ping cultures and expect you to do their bidding, there are also many who do not.
You can find many many many small groups in Null and Low that just let everyone do their own thing, and also offer some fleets and group projects for those who are interested.
If you join a group that has crazy demands, then leave and find a good one."
I would agree with this in any other game but it doesn’t actually work well in EVE. Change Corps a few times and people just think you’re a spy. I got a refusal once because I hadn’t kept every piece of trash email I had ever gotten. Basically, trying different groups quickly builds a wall that blocks you. It would be great if this wasn’t true.
“Try ganking”. Is this just another way of saying “become the cancer”?
