Highsec has a lot of lucrative opportinities and can generate a lot of fun content and funds. Highsec is actually the place to be in EVE Online if you actually want to be able to enjoy the game.
That’s quite the claim.
But it lacks any sort of evidence, or examples. Care to elaborate?

It’s the opposite, parasiting an exiting ecosystem is what qualifies as cancer.

However CCP has caved again. I mean it just means you need more DPS but still.
I enjoy the game in all secs. Of course, it depends what you mean by “…able to enjoy the game.”
If one takes the game as a whole - accepting that risks are everywhere, including the Market and Contracts - then the meaning of enjoyment takes into account loss/gain as part of the equation and whatever happens then is accepted as fun regardless of the amountof risk.
If on the other hand the game is seen as chunks where diverse levels of difficulties are encountered then one may have in mind that the choices are ‘little risks’ ‘medium risks’ and ‘high risks’ and of course humans will most often take the path of least resistance and HiSec become the perceived ideal.
The point is, there are different ways of enjoying EVE, it all depends on a player’s expectations.
I expect to die as many times as I buy and fit a ship, the question is just a matter of time.

I strongly suspect you are comfortable with the Cloaky/MWD trick.
Similar to the real world job market.
Almost getting ganked is a gas. When my ship has been wrecked it was usually my fault and I learned from it. There have been a few times I just sat there and let them send me home.

I’ve spent a good chunk of time in each of the kinds of space and I’d probably rank space from realest to safest as:
- NPC null
- Pochven
- LS
- WH
- Sov null
- HS
We see a lot of people who spend all their time in 5 complaining about the cowardice of people who spend their time in 6…

NPC Null varies a lot. Syndicate is very different from Great Wildlands, for example. Sovereign null has some carnivorous areas as well, even though it is 95% farmers.

My very first venture into lowsec ( let alone nullsec ) I got gate camped. Welcome to lowsec ! Only now ( 4 months later ) that I’m getting bored of highsec am I going back…and gonna explore nullsec too.
