Missed opportunity saying he plays the role of an F1 monkey in fleets.
But in a way that is true. These sort of arguments are like arguing over whether one ‘ought’ to have tomato ketchup on fried egg. Personally I think it’s disgusting…but others love it. There is no ‘right’ way to serve an egg…it’s down to whatever one finds the most fun.
Yes that was to point of my post.
I am doing all three areas now with different toons. Each area has its Positive/Neg points. In regards to Hi-sec, I can do stuff with a lot less hassle. Sure I might make less money, but PI, PVE, Missions, Mining, Abysals, Trading, hauling, FOB’s, Triglavians, WH’s, are all available in Hi-sec.
In regards to PVP from hisec I can do FW or jump to a lowsec system, still with less hassle cause I can come back in 1 or 2 jumps from low and go do something else in hi.
In a corp at war, station bashing in hi sec is also available for those who want to do that.
People who like ketchup on fried eggs are high sec griefers.
Haven’t gone to Null or WH space. I don’t yet see the need. I have everything I need in High and Low sec for now.
WH sounds like a pain in the rear. I don’t want to bother with finding entrances and exists to a region of space that don’t interest me.
As for Nullsec, I don’t need anything from there yet.
How do you hunt for pirates? Just look for red flashy criminals and engage?
You can also look for people that are actively suspect and engage them.
There are people like myself that go out of our way to be suspect.
Just to be clear by high sec pirate I mean ganker , criminal , baiters , scouts for gankers , because it all happens fast you have to preempt many attacks ,so you start to learn when something in a group changes and an attack is about to happen.
One thing I’m trying out is reference to the Alpha gankers at the gate and some station’s, aim is to get as high damage as possible before faction police or concord interfere . Managed to get close to 70% in a 1.0 so two should do a lot better , now I know the ganker gets his target but it’s interesting trying to push your alpha damage higher but this will be useful in low sec sys where the ganker is banking on 2 or more shots .
Always people to chase around in eve up to no good
videles is the new character of the same troll who states the dumbest nonsense, I’d ignore.
I agree I could name so many areas in HS were the threat level on a day-to-day basis is low to none
More interested to see what happens when @CCP_Rattati completes the merger of high and low sec later this year into one zone and no more police or concord assistance for the Empire megazone. Players will have to work together just like in null which would be the other megazone like it is now.
Ok so just to be clear on that
What you’re saying is that you like to 5v1 random people in ls and dock up if you get a reasonably fair fight.
Rorquals in High Sec, very cool.
In an edible fashion :], sorry had to take up the challenge.
Lol I’m playing since 2009
I think you covered the main reason… I’m a solo player with no friends in the game…so out of fear, I stay in high sec doing my trade stuff, missions, and mining…
To spice things up you could try some lowsec or abyssal PvP… or in hisec suspect baiting explorers or mission runners or popping some MTUs.
I guess the coming removal of highsec and a merge into low to form one Empire space without Concord will be a welcome change for most players. This fall will be great.
I was never interested in doing any ganking… I was one of those nice guys types that didn’t want to hurt anyone… Lol… But I’ll tell ya, I’d love to start bait ganking those Code gangs in high sec now… Yeah, I got a little salty towards them after they caught me off guard, destroyed my loaded kronos, and killed my implanted character… Death to the barbarian horde… Lol…
