Why do you play in Highsec space?

Calm down miner.

You admit you were off guard but somehow it’s their fault?

Maybe you could join @Githany_Red 's anti-ganking fleet sometime on your main or an alt?

Ganking is dead only miner ganking in small groups and tornado ganker doing alpha strikes.

There is even a fake Kusion in uedama these days ganking small targets on his own .

Maybe we need to look for new targets , I watched the meta show from two days ago and mittens and B made a lot of sense, Renters and bots, the new large scale criminal gangs of eve.

Think I’m a goon in denial,

Is this a recognised problem and can I get help for it.

Okay, this leaves me with so many questions.

First

How in the world did they catch you off guard? Why were you not actively pinging d-scan? High sec is not safe, but it is easy to determine if a fleet of murder talos, or catalysts, or typhoons or whatever are going to land on you.

Not to mention you were in a marauder. Where was your tank?

And this is precisely the reason why one should not use implants. Ever. Why do people insist on using them? Especially for risk adverse carebears?

Thought you had vanished sweetie, you had me worried.

What would we do without our anti ganker ?

I have heard that you want to join the goons sweetie, do you have a sense of humor? Are you something awefull?

What abut people telling you, from experience, what is best to do in some circumstances? They would still tell you what to do.

You could also say that about undocking…

Just do not undock, you will lose nothing. Especially if you are a risk averse carebear. :grinning:

Who needs Undocking anyway?

You don’t need to undock if you sign off in space.

That’s a red herring fallicy and has nothing to do with the argument I was putting forth to Aaron. I don’t like fleets because I enjoy playing solo. (Which is an opinion, but I offered my reasons as to why fleets are so detestable.

But since you brought this up,

“An idiot can learn from his own mistakes, but a genius learns form others.”
~Albert Einstein

I have no problems learning and taking direction, and correction from people who know what they are doing, and take accountability for their mistakes. I have not found 1 FC that had either of those qualities simultaneously.

False equivalency, there sweetie.

One can operate a ship just fine without implants.

But one cannot play the game without a ship.

You’re right…it was all my fault for being caught off guard… I’m just deflecting my own shortcomings onto them when they are just having fun playing the game how it is meant to be played… That realization is helping me to come back to the game… Even though I’m well off in the game, I took that loaded Kronos and character loss personally when I shouldn’t have… Definitely part of the psychological maturing process of this game that some new players can’t get past…

What ship do scammers in Jita fly? A station?

Usually they are in a corvette, the Ibis is popular for Jita scammers.

I was at a Triglavian site doing my destroy and salvage thing when a Code gang just popped in and immediately attacked… I was totally equipped to wipe them out…two armor repairers, repair boost injector, etc…but I froze…didn’t inject the repair booster that I brought specifically for that situation or even launch my high end drones before they killed me… I was kinda surprised that Concord didn’t show up…but they might have after I was obliterated… Lol…

Wow, you got outplayed.

Big time… Lol… I gotta hand it to them…it’s a pretty good high sec ganking scheme using a bunch of expendable ships…

Just do some fw fights in cheap ships for a little that freezing will go away quickly. Then you will be ready for the next time they come after your chrono.

Yeah, that’s exactly what I need to do to get past it… I’ve gotta stop being a loner and make some friends in the game… I had created a challenge in my mind that I wanted to succeed in the game by myself…and I did…but that approach ended up hurting me with combat beyond the AI stuff… It’s been a lesson learned on how to engage the game…

To be fair if you join a small corp, your own action’s become doubly important as people will more than likely rely on you to fill a situational roll and push you even harder, its a great challenge.

But I can respect the solo challenge o7
