Running abysals in high sec? That’s pretty dangerous. Someone is bound to jump into your mini pocket-o’-hell and mess with you.
I found running them in low sec is safer. So long as you activate the filiment in some sort of deep safe spot. But still no guarantees.
There are really quality FCs out there who don’t have their head up their ass. It’s a pleasure to work with them and one learns a huge amount. Completely avoiding group pvp because of a few bozos means you’re missing out.
I may try it again.
The main thing is you only get out what you put in. It’s a much more satisfying experience when you’re doing the more involved roles like scouting, logi, bait, etc.

My experience is reversed, i am not able to get anything close to the amount of isk i make per session in a wh or low. A single relic site in a wh often has 30mil+ per site in my experience and a combat site anywhere between the 50 and 80mil per site
