Agree 100%, and it’s always the same dozen characters constantly doing it. Best thing to do is email complaints about them to communityteam@ccpgames.com - use the verified email address connected to your EVE Online account.
Given that OP is from SICO, I have to assume that OP is a sockpuppet account for one of the usual personalities who say stupid things on the forums. Wouldn’t take much effort to put an alt into a Gnosis just to feed in Low-Sec to complain about on the forums.
DMC…why not just ignore? Don’t let them (or maybe me, dunno) get to you.
No, I wasn’t referring to you.
Listen to this moron @DragoFire whining about CODE when the OP was killed in lowsec solo.
Frankly, the OP’s subject title and post was basically the equivalent of a guy walking into a sports bar and yelling “[Favorite Local Sports Team] sucks!!!”. And then the guy wondering why all the local fans are throwing chicken wings at him…
I’d be surprised if it wasn’t intentional.

He is in SICO…
Oh…

I’d be surprised if it wasn’t intentional.
Likely just an emotional release. Just unfortunately here in the forum.
He lost the ship and came to the forum just a few minutes later. People can get frustrated and that’s fine. But coming and just calling others asswipes for losing a ship. Yeah well, that’s not going to receive a very positive response.
Alright, let me try to say what others have said in a more tactful and helpful way. PvP can happen anywhere in Eve at any time. This is the nature of the game being played. As such, you need to employ proper risk management strategies. This begins with, “don’t fly what you can’t afford to lose,” but does not end there. Now, I am not going to give you a hip pocket class on how to travel and pve safely in different areas of space. I’ll leave that to you to figure out (which you can do either through research, or by paying the “tritanium price”). However, I will make one suggestion -try joining a nullbloc. This will give you access to better isk making opportunities with very little increase to risk. They should also have guides telling you how to stay safe in general (i.e. join comms, join the standing fleet, join the intel channel), and how to do various activities safely (i.e. how to rat).
Crap, I got to run
TL:DR: Git Gud
your stuff can i haz it?
Eve working as intended.
My first character was in the same corp the OP is in, lets just say that it’s probably very difficult to get a worse start in EVE than that. The amount of mistaken “information” you’re being fed, the complete mayhem and people with weird ideas… It almost made me quit the game. That group is actually detrimental to new player retention.
OP: only advice I can give you is to leave that group, forget and unlearn what silliness they fed you and start anew. Make better informed choices and play smarter. It’s why I’m still around after a few months and actually doing quite well for myself.
Soon players will be ganking their alts. Popcorn and skittles, what fun that will be.
There really should be a window asking if you consent to pvp before someone can fire on your ship. It make for a more wholesome experience for the more gentile hearted folks just trying to get along and have a nice time.

There is. It’s labeled “Undock.”

There really should be a window asking if you consent to pvp before someone can fire on your ship.
If you go into lowsec, there is a popup window that appears on screen telling you that you are going to be at greater risk of pvp, and you have to accept that you understand that before you can even jump.
I was joking you idiot
whoosh

I was joking you idiot
That was a pretty carebear post you made, so it could just as easily been your butthurt ego crying out.
