The game is not ‘hard’ at all…..its just full of so many tactics and fittings and tricks one has never heard of. That leaves me over-cautious, which I think one’s mind interprets as things being ‘hard’, but really the issue is not ‘difficulty’ but knowledge.

So as you were on at the end of july as you got podded.. I guess you are as well? Or do you see yourself as the exception?
Also FYI I know of at least 2 families that play this game with their minor children. One does a lot of industrial and ratting. The other family I believe are in the Signal Cartel. Though they do a lot of exploration as a family. There are a lot more children playing than I think anyone realizes…

I have come too the point now where a capitol loss doesn’t really trigger a massive rage quit and a substantial break from the game. 99% of losses are pilot error.
If you have been playing the game for years I am not sure where your lacking.
Do you have any PvP experience? you cannot expect to go into hostile environments, anywhere other than highsec without the basic knowledge and concept of mechanics. You’d be a sitting duck every time.
Are u flying bling or ships that have no place in hostile environments? I have seen posts where people are trying to solo mine in procurer’s and wondering why they aren’t making it past the lowsec border or why they always end up loosing the ship.
People are looking for easy targets. unfortunately the attitude is “Kill Onsight non- Blue”. you learn to not be on their Grid where possible if your not doing PvP.
I would Recommend a Period of revenge. Taste Pvp, join a corp that are more small gang or join faction warfare where knowing your surroundings is crutial… and learn some.

And here we all are with yet another I am morally superior because reasons.. Here to tell us all what degenerate and heartless people we all are.. Allow me to introduce myself. I am an old gallente man. An industrialist.. I make things. I sell them to anyone. Some of my best customers have been or are gankers and miners. I have been called a filthy arms merchant.
A title that I think I have earned by playing in a game where ships and things go boom and doing my part in supplying more things for other to make go boom.
Outside of the game I am retired. A grandfather and a loving husband. In the game I am an old Gallente that heard the siren call for making things so that other can blow them up. Making Isk. Things go boom and I make sure a ready supply of cheap ships, ammo, and modules of varying sorts are always there to be bought. Thus making more Isk. Rinse and repeat.
I laugh at people like you as you take a game far more serious than I do as I lightly RP an old Gallente male that is a filthy arms dealer.

Things were done to him unexpectedly. Which was not alright, since he is a paying customer. Everything should be risk free in his gaming experience. Therefore we and also the developers are morally corrupt for letting this incident happen. Constructive advice is ranted about and ignored.
