I don’t think I ever spent more than 1B at any point there, unless for skillbooks involving capitals, or for a doctrine that I really wanted to fly and join alliance fleets. I built up my entirely new nullsec ship hangar collection over a period of 12 months, while generating (some would say “modest”) income to buy more and faster. But it all comes down to what you can do with the skill levels you already have. And I never let my wallet drop below a certain value, whatever the circumstance.
Of course, if you join a high profile alliance (all the big ones are) it will be relatively more expensive to keep up with the ever changing doctrines and such, although there rarely are any real demands to do so. So that should be a thing to watch out for before joining.
You are RIGHT. If the Nullsec people don’t want us at our worst I don’t see why we should gift them with our best.
You start your own corporation you can recruit me.
Yeah, my bad. Edited it, credited you, and forgot how it felt as a player to look at the progress on the skill queue - everything takes weeks to months in my queue, per level, lol.
Yes. I edited mine as well. I apologize. I’m hot-blooded.
I don’t mind the wait at all. With everything there is to learn, the wise thing to do is take the opportunity of time to understand everything before putting on daddy’s boots.
Absolutely !! That’s the biggest advantage of the skill leveling system in EvE. It may not be the fun part if one really wants to fly a particular ship, that is true too. At least one is forced to consider the value of one’s choices. It’s also its biggest disadvantage, because it will never please the impatient and superficial - at least one reason to call EvE tough, slow in progression, etc.
It also gives time to think about the best methods to avoid ganks as much as possible, re topic
There you have it.
There are plenty of systems in Lowsec that aren’t camped almost continuously. The fact that you have to go through PF-346 and it’s camped almost continuously proves my point.
Depends where in null. Some regions are renter space, where you do have to pay to live there. Other alliance space only has the usual token fees for corp membership (some don’t even have that). And it’s hard for hisec debt collectors to collect debts in the depths of nullsec, lmao. Ve haf vays to deal with such trespassers At the very least you will be safe(r) from those permit selling folks, lol.
I doubt the instant gratification crowd will find their happiness in EVE. At least not within the first few months and not without spending some isk in Skill Injectors.
Look, I’m fully trained for Hecate and I don’t even know how to use the damn thing, lol.
Ganking is a surprise attack when you least expect it. Even the best can fall into an ambush. But it’s a good learning opportunity, too.
Losing an empty Sigil in 0.4 is a great opportunity to learn.
That’s the one I have the least experience with as well. It packs a huge punch, and should be perfect for ganking (it lacks in tank, so you have to be very quick). For pve the other three t3 dessies are a lot of fun, and quite resilient.
I chose the Hecate because I do plan to “PwPw” and “gank” in all parts of space ( since now we know that ganking is simply PvP )
I choose my ships for their abilities to help in PvP, then my skills and experience have to match the lethality of the ship. I’ll get there. I’m hotblooded but also very patient. I don’t care how long it takes. Meanwhile I’m having fun and making friends.
Ganking - a criminal act of non-consensual bullying, harassment, and discrimination that uses exploits to destroy video game players’ personal digital property, banned by most video game companies operating in nations that are signatories of the Geneva Conventions.
