It appears than only inner tab switching triggers journal update, outer tab switching is not triggering journal update.
Consider real time updating.
Same with me. Journal is nice feature, but it is not updating on all mission events triggered by Agent buttons like Accept, Complete etc.
I consider it low quality issue.
