IRL you could been thrown a curve ball because of a serious disability, disease or accident that keeps you from being able to take care of yourself or, at the very least, do well.
In EVE nothing is permanent or debilitating to that degree. In EVE it’s all just choice.
Firstly in New Eden we all know the risks of undocking and as much as the power outage be an outside cause of loss, it is no different than being ganked on the way back to dock causing similar losses.
Secondly you said brownout… lol )
Um yeah lightning and losing the WHs well most would have more than one alt inside (logged off) such high value space.
Which says a lot about your reading abilities, not mine…
Have you ever seen me say anything like that too? Is that what you think I’m talking about when I say you’re using those players instead of helping them? Really?
I love how you keep seeing “proofs” of anything you want to believe in anything I say. Truly funny.
ROFLMAO.
You sure about this too? You think the OP’s unreadability has anything to do with whether English is his native language or not? Cannot you see any hints there that he was simply too lazy (regardless of whether English is his native language or not) to bother writing his post properly in order to make it easier for others to read and understand? Are you that blind? Or is it just a matter of not being able to see what you don’t want to see? Actually, did you even (try to) read that post in full to begin with?
Lies… Such as? You are the only one blatantly lying here, in this very post I’m replying to…
ROFL. I’m scared now. Please don’t forget to also report this very post of yours I’m replying to when you do that…
EDIT: For the record, he flagged my first post in this thread as “inappropriate” right after I posted this…
As DMC said, there’s nothing wrong with showing a fellow player some civility and some support. Especially if it seems that they might be a newer player, who has thoughts about the Eve they’ve been in so far, and post for some feedback or discussion. Eve forum wars used to be some sort of art (albeit a macaroni and paper plate one), craft, sport, or something or other. That was in the Childhood of MMOs Age through to the I Might to be Just About to Get Out of Puberty Age. There was only one real place for the entire Eve community to hang out and sling sh*t, and that was the official Eve forums.
Hundreds of people posting all kinds of random crap, the same using them for propaganda/mindtwist purposes, and hundreds playing the Art of Forums War. And thousands more just reading for daily updates on the news/drama. Your all-in-one source for what kind of surprising, stupid, and possibly incomprehensible thing might be going on in Eve today.
So in those days, forum wars and being a forum warrior was kind of a thing. 1000s of players read along, played along, enjoyed popcorn, and never posted a thing. But these days, we are few in these forums. There’s the alternative of going to reddit, if you’re a beauty queen, and want to read upvoted chains of posts by people who found something amusing, or were there at the same place at the same time, or for some reason are in the same tribe with the same experience/grievance.
In any event, toxicity was a kind of sport, and a mental dueling thing. Long gone. Eve created such an immersive world that what’s going on right now is in meta in Instagram, Twitter, etc., among the oldsters. And on Discord, etc. among many more others. This game is just to strange and amazing for me to ever understand
