Of course I read it. You just didn’t understand what I’m getting at because you probably aren’t involved in game development.
Here’s the deal: your “committee of wise people” would tell you that your direction would financially ruin the game, just like I’m telling you right now. And then you’d have to use your “infinite money” to keep it running like a charity. Which might not be so bad per se, but obviously hinges entirely on that “infinite money” part.
See, it’s not that your ideas are bad. They’re quite good in fact! They would make for a very compelling gaming experience for all of the 5,000 players left on the server. But that’s not the experience that actually sells. It’s not the experience that keeps players coming back to a casual mobile game like EVE. There’s a solid decade of investment and marketing research on this matter, and it all points to the exact opposite intent compared to yours.
