whats your stance on Carriers in their current state?
As a friend and fellow candidate i was very happy to see Youngpuke throughout this yearās CSM working period doing visible work engaging with the part of the community i play with daily.
A vote for YP is a vote for a healthy game and a tireless worker!
YP2 has has been very engaged with his community and with CCP on his focus areas. As iāve stepped away from EVE for a bit, iām happy to see heās been able to carry the torch for FW, balance and overall ecosystem health and is doing a good job managing that burden, while staying respectful to his fellow CSM.
He is a good resource and communicator to utilize to help the players get their message to CCP and is a good choice for another round of CSM work.
YP2 sets standards for CSM activity. I know for a fact he has reached out to numerous people for feedback on various ideas/questions he has had. I know he will continue to put in the hard work if he gets elected again.
+1 from me
When it comes to candidates whose experience lends valuable insight into perspectives ranging from small-scale, faction warfare, alliance/corporation leadership, and nullsec PvP, Youngpuke2 is the first that comes to mind. As someone whose flown both alongside & against Youngpuke2, he has my utmost respect as well as confidence that he would be an excellent contributor in helping drive this game forward to becoming all the more engaging for those new players finally taking that first step in EVE. What I value most in leadership is one who leads from the front, takes part in the community, and remains accessible & open to those around them, Youngpuke2 is an excellent example of that.
In my opinion, Carriers are in a lackluster spot and need a stronger battlefield identity. Iād like to see their Command Burst strength and duration bonus increased to 5% per level, pushing them into a more meaningful fleet support/utility role.
I see Carriers working best as true utility boats platforms that bring EWAR projection, subcap influence, and command boosts that actually shift the outcome of a fight. This means carriers allow for the beginning of an escalation chain to dreadbrawls. This is also where I think T2 and Navy Carriers could shine: Navy hulls could emphasize having more tank and racialized bonuses, while T2 Carriers could specialize in even more advanced EWAR, that can jam capitals, logistics, or even enhanced fighter bonuses. That split would let pilots choose between frontline staying power and specialized utility, giving Carriers a real identity instead of being watered-down versions of whatever they are now.
One of the mostāif not the mostāactive CSM members out there. yp2 for CSM
.
Puke has been an absolute beast to work with this past year, and I hope to end up working with him again
YoungPuke2 is an excellent CSM. He legitimately cares about the game and serves as an enthusiastic voice for many people who often go unrepresented in the game. Iāve known him for a long time and heās always been kind and happy to listen to anyone.
I wholeheartedly endorse him for CSM.
love him or hate him.
this man has put in the time and effort to make this game a better place for us all
and thatās the kind of dedication we need here in the game we all detest but canāt pull ourselves away from.
and while he may not agree with your point of view, he is still willing to hear it and pass it on.
which in a lot of cases we havenāt had from our CSM members.
vote puke if you want to see the voices of the few heard.
Throughout his tenure in CSM19 I spoke with Youngpuke a number of times about problems that I saw and felt in nullsec, he took the time to discuss these with me and to try to understand my perspective and what I thought wasnāt working. A lot of the problems were later addressed by CCP which I can only assume Youngpuke had a hand in.
I gladly endorse Youngpuke2 for CSM20
Unreserved endorsement for YP2, I think he demonstrated a very capable approach to communicating both with CCP and engaging with the community
Some may call him spastic, some may say over zealous, some have even accused his mother of taking to much Tylenol. Frankly though he is what this game we all love needs.
I have known YP for about 3-4 years now. You could not ask for a more balanced and fair member. He was never after self promotion for the sake of vanity. He wanted to make sure that people had a reason to log in and keep enjoying a community of gameplay new bro and bitter vet alike.
He has not been willing to sit by and let this game we love die. He has actively worked with the community and CCP to bring continuous improvement back to the game. You could not ask for a better CSM member.
When I first started out on CSM19 I was warned that Puke was hot headed and impossible to work with, and honestly I feel scammed because instead I got the opposite
YP2 always made himself available despite timezone differences and contributed in basically every meeting, every group huddle, and every shitpost (please stop DMing me ā ā ā ā ā ā ā AI mascots i swear to god)
He has brought about changes in the game that the players have recieved well and has proven himself to be an effective CSM member, I reccomend him to be on anyones ballot
Weāve had the privilege of working with Youngpuke throughout his CSM tenure as part of CSM19 and whether or not you agree with his visions for the game is largely made irrelevant by the fact that he will talk to practically anyone who wants to talk to him and take time to gather feedback to take to CCP, even if he doesnāt agree. The āwantsā of the CSM are largely irrelevant, and this man has a proven record of being willing to do what actually matters - listen and share to CCP. He has my vote and will be near or at the top of the BIGAB ballot. I encourage the same from any alliance who loves lowsec.
Who would have thought that it would take getting on CSM to realize that I already knew this man from some timers we fought alongside in low sec a few years back. Mr YoungPuke the 2nd brings a ton to the table.
First off, he is always willing to challenge the status quo and shake things up. The man is passionate about not only addressing complaints and concerns in low sec, but finding ways to make the game enjoyable for groups of all sizes; reducing the barrier of entry for those looking to play in his area of space. He is a relentless advocate for all those who come to him asking for help. Even if you didnāt ask for help, heās probably advocating for your concern. He also regularly attended WH UN meetings and took time to ask questions and better understand the challenges facing wormholers today.
Working alongside Mr. Puke, he has had my back figuratively in the room with CCP and literally when we went swimming and did a cold plunge. This man has the dedication and tenacity of an over-affectionate golden retriever. A vote for puke is a vote for the greater success and enjoyment of EVE.
If you want an active and community-oriented CSM member, vote for Youngpuke2. Iāve been friends with him for going on 5 years, Iāve served in alliance leadership with him, Iāve flown with him, and Iāve dealt with him diplomatically. Iāve never seen a more passionate EVE player. The level of engagement from Youngpuke2 as a CSM member is something Iāve never encountered, but I would have expected nothing less from him.
Read through the other posts in this thread and youāll see heās made a unique effort to communicate with everyone he can. If you want your voice to matter on the CSM, give him the chance to keep fighting for us.
Hereās my most recent interview of me going through 10 years of low sec and the history of JREX!
P.S: itās 2 hours long ![]()
First, I met yougpuke2 as a content provider (others might say he harassed us
). Over time, though, my small NPC null alliance back then came to understand that it was all about fun and engagement, not dominance.
Much later, when I got involved in Gallente FW, he and his team became the unofficial center of the factionāturning events in our favor, working toward in-game objectives even alongside perceived enemies, and constantly helping, advising, and educating people.
More recently, weāve occasionally found ourselves on the same side of battle reports, working toward a common goal without any prior agreementājust natural cooperation.
I know him as a committed player, a strong FC, and, in my eyes, the specialist of FW and lowsec. Weāve had discussions about mechanics I donāt particularly like and, I was always confident he gave due consideration to my input as well as to othersā.
On my own behalf, I am proud to endorse him as a candidate for the CSM.
Puke and I have only ever been on opposite sides of the fight, but he has my support as a CSM candidate.
This past year he has shown himself to be professional, a great communicator, and above bias. It is clear that Puke is willing to put an immense amount of effort into the CSM, and listen to everyoneās opinion.
A vote for Puke is a vote to improve the game.
