I wasn’t arguing for his premise. I don’t know if it was a DDoS or not. His premise was that it was.
I was arguing that if that is the case how did theirs last one hour and Eve’s is lasting for days. The fact that it was not a DDoS is a good answer, but that was not his premise.

steam did go down yesterday for about an hour. you could connect to steam but most online services were out and as far as i know all online gaming with steam was down. what other than a DDos would do that. steam issued no update so it wasnt that and steam had no planed down time. you tell me what happened.

I realize you are embarrassed about how stupid I made you look with your claims about Eve being fixed. But latching on to this is only embarrassing you further. Sadly, considering your absurd post count on a game you hardly play, I realise how central a role this forum plays in your social life. At this point I am starting to feel bad about embarrassing you on what is probably your only outlet for human interaction.
Ever time I log on, I get the 26000 message, no chat, and a thirty second to one minute lag from the time I input anything to the game until the time it happens. that kind of lag is NOT playable.
BTW, the DDOS’ers must be Guild Wars 2 fans, because I’ve had sero issues there.

I’ve reinstalled eve, cleared windows and hardware firewalls, added exceptions too.
From California, unable to see any chats. CCP IT IS NOT FIXED. 2 weeks unable to see local, how do you expect us NOT play eve for 2 weeks at a time? … LAME.
Yeah I really don’t get the chat system not working.
Just with all the issues, getting fatigued from it all. I can log in but no chat at all. Rather than deal with it I’m just gonna log out until the whole games working.
