01/02/2020 - Connectivity Issues

Can’t vote with my feet. I can’t log in to my other accounts to cancel them. Nifty trick.

This is slightly incorrect. 192.168.x.x is the LAN address space, but other subnets other than 192.168 (192.9.x.x as an example) are valid IPv4 public addresses.

You have to use a VPN to authenticate if you are from Eastern US. You can log in just fine from fake France.

Do a tracert (without your VPN if you are using one). siteprotect.security.neustar is blocking you. The DDoS isn’t the culprit. Their DDoS security is. The route stops cold there.

Yep, for days now

I don’t know how you have done it CCP. But this has gotten nothing but worse as time has gone by. The first few days I could at least get on sometimes. The last two days I haven’t come close to making it onto the server.

Whatever you are doing to “fix” this, please stop. Time for plan B.

Even Evemon is not working at this point. I can’t even monitor from there because it says I have no valid API key and can’t update my information.

It really is the most clever thing he has ever thought of to say. It is like my 4 year old going around telling everyone her knock knock banana joke.

True but I assume the chances of someone in EvE actually having a class c public IP is slim.
As far as I know, only small providers and hosting companies would use these blocks.
I believe that the majority of those public IPs are used for troubleshooting network issues when narrow block isolation is needed.
I noted that though because if not, I can see two thousand trouble tickets going in for 192.168.1.11. LOL
I didn’t want to be the cause of that.
: )

Without the hostility, Why would you not support this idea?
Convince me it is a bad idea.

Wow/ Name calling much lol. You my little friend sound soooo upset :stuck_out_tongue:

Actually, only 192.168.0.0/16, 192.0.0.0/24, 192.0.2.0/24 and 192.88.99.0/24 are reserved in the 192.0.0.0/8 addressing block. But you’re right in that far too many would submit something like 192.168.1.11 lol.

Because CCP have lied to us before, many times.

I think we need to get out the Great Book of Grudges in order to figure that one out.
“CHAT NOT WORKING”[timestamp][datestamp] latest inscription

Wow…just wow. I unsubscribed my accounts due to not being able to play after adding a support ticket, now I can’t even log in to check the status of my support tickets!!! I’m glad I unsubscribed since even support for US Players is now “out of order.” I’ve been in this game for over 10 years and now it seems that all the time I’ve actually paid for and not plexed this game is basically worthless. Thanks CCP!!!

Obviously it’s been good for 10 years…
How quick you are to throw that all away.
EvE obviously doesn’t mean anything to you.
Goodbye.

Been playing myself for over 12 years, and have just about had it with their inability to keep the game up and running. I can log in (about every 3rd try) but the parts I really need (like Market) lag so badly, I’m getting nothing done. And not being able to see who’s in the sytem or chat doesn’t help. I’m an industrialist, I mine/refine/build/sell, not about to send a freighter with a couple of B worth of stuff to Jita with the game like this. Just look at the start screen at the number of players online, steadily going down. The game operator needs to figure out how to fix the problems or the [layers will go to another game (that works).
