I still can’t connect.

My launcher says there are 31,000ish players on the server. Makes me think I’m amongs the few unlucky ones

Been blocked since the attacks started this afternoon game time.

I can log in, I can select my character and I appear in game to others for about a minute.

However, my client gets a blank screen for a while before getting two connection closed dialogues.

So my client is getting into the game but then drops immediately.

Glad and not glad that I am not the only one…hopefully they will have it fix pretty soon.

Not all welshmen like sheep you know, although… some of them are rather pretty and you have to be quick or they run away :wink:

Just find a vpn service that provides free accounts and you’ll be able to log in and play. I was almost ready to go back to omega this morning then this happenend and changed my mind for me. ;(

I found one called proton vpn thats working okay here (vpn) its free and you get a 7 day free trial of thier premium service so at the moment its pretty fast as well.

I finally got in since retrying for the past 6 hours. CCP has been completely absent in acknowledging the later problems - they need more staff, both to handle these incidents and to communicate with their member base.

Sitting in a corner rocking back and forth refusing to engage with the community is pathetic…but hey ho - im no longer surprised! - See you guys on the next DDOS.

You think that they aren’t doing what they can to protect their company? Think before you type.

Finally back in. But it took restarting my computer. As you can see from the timestamp of my last post, restarting my pc takes 90 minutes!!! I’ll bet the same people who made windows 10 “autoupdate, could not update, rolling back” on every single restart is responsible for the ddos attacks!! It’s a conspiracy I tell you!!!

I think they are doing this on the cheap to save money - investing in more staff would help customer relations - how hard would it have been for one of them to admit that there are still issues 4 hours on? Na! No excuse for the lack of communication - thats the one thing that annoyed me.

The best way to get someone to leave you alone is to ignore them. They want attention. When they stop getting attention, the attacks will stop.

We have been working with our network defense partner all day to map the issues some players have been experiencing and trying to determine the root cause. The peak number of online players was 32,609, which is lower than normal and we are much aware of the extent and impact of the issues through our metrics, posts in this forum thread, and support tickets sent to Customer Support.

We are not going to provide more detail than we have been repeatedly DDoS attacked in the last few days and we are and have been working with our network defense partner.
