not the best solution, but if you’re in a bind you can always use a VPN and log in that way.
Like i said, not a solution but it will permit your some function-ability to change skills etc.
PVE carebears always get angry when you come between them and their isk/h.

So even though i did not suffer on the day of the DDoS,
today when the last matches of ATX begun, all my characters had “socket close” and now for the past hour im unable to connect to the login server, Or the account management are to create a ticket for help.

Any news? for the love of god, those ppl that GET MONEY with the game, are they working or something? because i cant see any response from they :S … I know, now the “ass-likers” gonna say “they are working hard, they love us, they are great! please salute me or tell me “HELLO!”” and bla bla bla… but here there are ppl that work every day, pay for a service and, we have not the service, so we have RIGHT to be complaining about.

I use to be patient somehow… But when youre not even in space, TRYING to fit a ship but having only time to open the inventory window and find the module you want to fit then have “socket closed” like 10 times in a row, one gets to the point that patience wears out .
Mind fixing the game making it stable before adding more content ?
A this point i think stability became more a priority than content, right ?
Goin out to take a beer or two, as it looks like another " Today, no play" day …
P.S.: Are we gonna get compensation or is it in the “deal” when you pay for a subscription that you will strugle connecting just to be disconnected shortly after ?
AFAIK, payment passed without problem, why isnt it same when i try to use my subscription ?

I have been having the issues as well for 2 days now… I live in the midwest USA. The only way I have been able to play is to connect to a VPN and then login works fine. WHAT GIVES CCP? Can we at least get an update on this please?

ya said fixed well guess not need close server do fresh clean reboot definently need do something tired of paying for eve offline. mean other games sure have had same issues but they seam be perma fixed so why not ask other company’s what did mean

Responded to GM Spider’s email with ip/location/isp and sent an additinal petition in- that was 8 hours ago, still nothing. I’m at 120 cumulative hours down now, 4 Omegas. CCPlease, tell your ddos scrubbing partner to whitelist my IP already, I’ve sent it in about 6 times now. Come on guys, anything?

good luck bud weekend they rerouted me cpl yrs back worked great till this last cpl months I asked if could do again 2 days ago no reply think they rather avoid issue and worry about next update and skins as usual

we all know how important it is add new stuff to game and new skins that’s the money not us who pay play they care less tbh pretty sure there program or something that can stop it or shut down when starts so not get infected mean WOW had similar problem fixed not seen since so I know ways fix they just not want spend money to do so cause I suckers keep paying too be offline sadly

Indeed can confirm VPN used got me in So apparently I have pay 15 more dollars a month play one stupid game sad times. it is fixable they just not want spend money to do so is all

I have not been able to log on at all today due to an inability for the launcher to connect to the login service. I had issues logging in yesterday as well, however not nearly as severe as today. I’m sure you are all working to try and get this fixed, but please fix it soon.

If a VPN gets you in… perhaps consider it’s not the servers so much as the general internet. There are normally 10 to 20 steps between you and CCP owned by other people. CCP can’t do anything about those steps.
If its DDoS mitigation… well they can try based on tickets but spamming six of them just adds 6 times the workload for a start. And may not be possible depending on attack vectors.
It looks to me like CCP is blaming their own screw ups on some nebulous DDOS master race again. I would have thought they learned their lesson from the last time they tried that.
