Hi i’m new to the game and have no dog in this. But as i see it stealing of stuff that was in part pay for by sub and buying ship upgrades through plex should be ban for that to right?And this guy flipped after being met in person bet he was payed in real money.anyway lucky ccp server are not in the USA because wire feud or hacking charge could be brought IMO.

Obviously not a lawyer, I see. The Judge’s actions, while underhanded, didn’t appear to violate any of the TOS. Nor did it violate any internet laws,especially in the US or England. Now you can argue about the moral or social “laws” or ethics he violated and be fully justified, but EVE has never been about doing what is ethical. You may also have just cause to question if his role in the CSM has any bearing on the issue, but there is no evidence that he used his special knowledge or position to directly allow his actions and that is up to CCP to decide. It’s also fair to at least question the neutrality of CCP in this matter, but I cannot yet see any bias; a RL threat for bodily harm from a person who has already previously been warned about such behavior seems to warrant a strong response from CCP.

Maybe your right but this is sure to not help a game that losing players.I don’t know. Why did he switch sides was a cash payment used? All i see is lots of sub money was used to build up co2 right? seems like it should not be good for the game and goon why would you want a your foes taking down like that make the game less fun.

The Judge pulled the biggest D*** move I’ve ever seen in the game. As a CSM member he then provoked the leader of the victims afterwards and the victim is the one kicked out of the game?
This is like a father punching a child molester in the face and then being arrested while the child molester is let go on a technicality.

yeah it was. all criminal like actions were made in game. talking to ppl at an event sponsored by CCP has nothing wrong with it. Hey maybe it was a plan from a long time ago. maybe the judge felt that this guy needed to learn a lesson. either way, it happened for a reason, and I can’t think of a better example to be set. #bangigx4life

Co2 back stabbing the imperium. That never happened right? Co2 got what is deserved and so did it’s line members that kept with him.
Advocating violence and consistently breaking the EULA on all fronts from leadership just goes to show what linemembers of Co2 needs to do. Get the hell out of there.
