17 for vedmaks demaviks I don’t recall exactly but within 10km

The entire group dps seems to be fixed the demaviks deal very low dmg max vedmaks I’ve seen was 4 when I had 3 vedmaks I had tons of frigs when 4vedmaks few frigs
Before spooling up 4 vedmaks deal800 dps or so after 1600 that’s no frigs counted
I still find it very strange that you can insta dock after coming out of these rifts, maybe its only on Sisi thou for rapid testing.
have u tried weapon disruptor? with script for optimal? could work perhaps to lower inc dps. Gonna try it later

Yes we tried it, it works well.
Light tracking disruptor drone is also quite useful so far for gun ships.
These Damn BS’s have too much ehp they take way too long to kill for that 20min timer and this is with a ship that does 550 dps and sometimes overheat’s and hitting into the npc resistance hole. 9 minutes to finish only 1 round because of the bs
And last wave vedmak’s raped my tank lol wow they do so much damage, burnt out of their range they had yellow lock’s but when they locked up again it didn’t seem like they lost their dps it was still hitting more than I could ever dream to rep hmm… Might need a faster ship (probably require a mutated 10mn).
About the td I’m one ahead on tactics we know there’s very few vedmaks 3-4 cycling a td with optimal disrupt between each of them would reset all of them as their op being 22 with40% disrupt we go to 13.2 which is lower than their orbit set range however they still hit even reset too damn hard rly

Tbh I dont think it would be worth running the 5’s on TQ the danger is so damn high but the reward’s are the exact same as 4’s lol and each loss is going to set you back 600m and the loss depends on how unlucky you are on spawn’s.
All we can do is continue to test and hope the devs see what’s happening and bring the engagement in line with the others so far the rats have too much aplication and disabling power compared to all other engagements
A vedmak has 4 times the tracking of a drifter cruiser
At the same time I don’t want them to make 5’s too ez, as long as 5’s have different loot then at least the market will make that loot valuable which is nice, unless ofc all this is cheap then the group content is where things become valuable which could also be nice.
No one will fight over mutaplasmids there’s no sense to pay too much for them then pay more for the base mod knowing most will get bricked
There is a big difference thou, mutaplasmid’s can be sold on market which mean’s the price will be driven down, the mutated mods can only be sold on contract so their prices will always be a lot higher than it should be.
I wish that mutated mod’s inherit the original mod cost before mutation so at least killboard’s wont be super undervalue’ed, looking at my collection on sisi the whole folder show’s 0 isk worth
in 3rd pocket drone swarm and 2 Deviant automata suppressor light and heavy. I’m burning to heavy and it’s not working :\ then burn to light and it melted them. Also i think it’s a bit confusing that light one has less optimal and more dmg than heavy, or mayb it’s just me.
Anyway sometimes they are not working
Light is 3 times the dmg of heavy
Confirmed, towers didn’t work on the first tier 3 i tried today. Testing continues…
The automata suppressors were not showing their firing effects when I last saw them in action. has anyone else noticed this? Normally we see all those little projectiles now there is nothing at least on my end.
I’m not seeing any effects either.
what better way to return home after a long day of work and have in your first tier 5 first room a triglavian spawn that has been aparently rebalanced by the devs-I am curently browsing through the logs don;t even care if my ship get crushed all in all the triglavian spawn is now a more fair fight worth testing it’s good to see our opinions are not ignored thank you!
First impressions from what i can recollect from my panicked state as i was expecting the previous engagements.
Initial alpha on aproach from the vedmaks was good similar to what it was before quite scary and panic worthy as armor went down to 40% or so,i was flying an ab fit ishtar knowing the vedmaks were a huge issue i went for my initial plan of using my td with optimal disrupt on one and cycling through them to break their weapon spool up when they settled around 17km but they didn’t the entire group setted within 10km of me i wasted an incredible amount of time shooting a demavik with acolytes not having a web fitted cost many seconds maybe even 2-3 minutes in total.
After i came to my sense a bit i swaped my script on td to tracking and left it on one vedmak it’s likely that vedmak never landed another shot entire fight i deployed praetors and set them on a vedmak of my choice the drones did poorly as the vedmaks maintained a high speed which wasn’t a problem in their design the fault there lies with my lack of tackle,i managed to avoid alot of shots through ab sig tanking,the demaviks went after the drones and did quite a bit of dmg i’d say comparable to what a large drifter group of 10ish drifter cruisers does when switching to atacking heavy drones .
After slowly chewing through the vedmaks with my bad aplication the demaviks proved a tought little bunch aswel however not something impossible to manage the entire engagement lasted about as long as a 10ish drifter cruiser+ drifter bs would last.
The vedmaks did not neut as far as i noticed.
As for feedback i can state the brawling style fight will definately encourage usage of shorter ranged high tank ships such as the deimos,sacrilege and does not seem unfair to kiting style ships like vagabond cerberus because it forces a balanced aproach on kiting ships between tank and speed instead of fitting gimmick polarized zealots like someone did about few days ago.
