Yea so far I think tier 4 is the highest Ill farm as I don’t see any reasonable loot difference in 5 so far.
From my experience 5 is really good for farming ammo BPC’s but I don’t really see a need to have that many, mutaplasmid’s will be where the isk is at so would rather farm faster than harder.
So I think 3’s will be the best balance of speed/loot, which is where I foresee most player’s going as well.
Agreed but they need so many resource’s so the bpc’s will be the least expensive part of the ammo, sell the ammo too high and it wont sell so the price will fall without the ingredient’s falling which would make the bpc’s cheaper. I’m also finding lots of ammo bpc’s in 4’s xD not as many as 5’s thou.
Have not found any in 4’s yet lol mostly swarm’s and the occasional drifter bs with cruisers.
But I have a funny feeling mutaplasmid spawn chance might be tied to what kind of spawn it is, as the muta’s iv found before where linked to triglavian spawn’s, might just be co-incidence thou.
But so far:
f1: 1-2 Cry-iso 10; 2 zero-p ; Muta (Triglavion spawn) (Alpha)
f3: 9 Cry-iso 10; 60 zero-p ; Muta (Triglavion spawn) (90% of players)
f4: 11 Cry-iso 10; 70 zero-p ; No muta (no Triglavion spawn yet) (few BPC’s)
f5: 12 Cry-iso 10; 87 zero-p ;No muta (Triglavion spawn but died) (crap ton of BPC’s) (Lot’s of tear’s xD)
So from a pure resource perspective i’m guessing people will sit at 3’s :] Haven’t tried 2’s.
True I guess alpha’s would, I would love to try firestorm but unfortunately I used lot’s of extractor’s on my skills to test out the new ship’s with perfect skill’s and unable to fly anything other than a vagabond without drones lol! and have to wait like 2 weeks to copy my old skills back on Sisi xD
and the new ship’s are not good for these site’s that tank just melt’s.
So only gamma + elec for me.
I have found a RLML Cerberus excels due to its perfect damage application to the drone swams with precision missiles. and high damage potential with furys. Kinetic locking isn’t too much of an issue as it seems to be a resist weak spot for the majority of npcs. The only issue is the slow reload time but this can be managed by careful and active management of missile fire rate. (1 or 2 volleys can alpha the rogue drones off the field at reasonable range so an active approach pays dividens).
If this comes true, CCP creates a new interaction-safe (combat) mining profession for highsec people. The wet dream of anti-gankers.
I had some hope 1-3 were just providing filaments for next tiers and rare drops of valuables, but looks like the majority of resources will be coming from tier 3.
This is all very bad, especially as this content targets player groups not willing to interact with other players.
hey guys I’m in a site with exp_strong_small_damage_drone_placeholder (gamma III, room 3), and they’re not aggroing me. Friend is reporting the same, that’s probably not intentional.
It’s been said higher up, the dev’s removed their ai so players can finish the easy drone swarms quicker and have more time to do the harder site’s so more accurate timer’s can be made from the other options.
two issues with the current mechanic of tier 1 - 3 being doable without suspect timer:
If you make it impossible to tell if a scanned down beacon will result in a suspect pilot or a non-suspect pilot coming out of it, the hunters gameplay would consist of scanning down and waiting on beacons just to have a non-suspect pilot come out most of the time. Very engaging.
How would you prevent people running abyssal sites from HS from simply entering a tier 1 site if they come back and have a hunter waiting for them, waiting out the suspect timer in abyssal space? Some 10sec reactivation delay? Block activation if other ships are too close?
