Ran C3 Gamma in my alt’s Gila, died on the 3rd wave with 1 cruiser 1 frig left (because of tank), Gila is not as op as I had thought, but it applies damage so much better than the other ship’s (This is with just drone’s as I have no missile skills on my alt, and 0 drone tracking bonus on ship hull.) I have tried so far (Vaga, Munnin, Zealot, omen navy, stabber fleet)
Was using Republic fleet Valkrie with 1.1484 Tracking and it tracked amazingly well, With the stabber fleet with 74 Tracking, tracked 1/2 to 1/3rd as well, really these number’s are not accurate, with the vagabond it tracked very poorly even with 220’s had to fly really well to keep transversal down to sort of land hit’s, even near tracking tower.
Medium gun’s really need a tracking/damage overhaul, especially when medium tower’s with +80% are placed in the game to let gun ships sort of keep up but still be worse than drone tracking :/.
Changed Gila fit and can run 3’s a lot easier now even 4’s are not bad at all with the gila, with the vaga I’m still struggling to track
Tried with munnin + web (+strong drop) and it couldn’t track the frigs even near a short range multi tracking pylon… while medium drone’s are 1 shotting these thing’s with out any web assistance… Feel the love.
Npc neuting is working nearly perfectly in deep falloff as if it was in optimal.Is this intended?

Ok, so I had some time to run some sites, I was doing mainly lvl 3 dark sites since the latest patch, though mixed in a couple others, and here is my take on it:
Due to spawn variations on both opponent ship types and support structures to run these sites reliably I need to have the following:
600-700 DPS
28-33 km minimum range
110 ish tracking on turrets, or 80 ish tracking on turrets + 2x T2 web (1 web is not enough)
Has to be cap stable, run either Cap Booster, Large Cap Battery (T1 acid or compact is fine), or cap rigs
Tank - of course it has to have tank to match the weather, need 90+ resists to compensate for weather penalties, or need to forget resists altogether and go pure buffer + single rep (this is weather dependant can’t use buffer in buffer / rep penalty weather)
I was able to complete very few sites, no matter what I tried I was unable to match the ships and fits to the spawn variations.
Anything below upper 600s DPS @ around 30 km fails to break tank and apply enough DPS to battleships quickly enough to not get killed by timer. Exception is if you get spawn lucky and get 3 or less battleships through the entire site (all 3 pockets)
Battleship groups prevent using short range ships and fits. Their damage swells too fast as soon as you drop below 14-16 km range. Forget using autocannons blasters and short range lasers. A single smartbomb kinda helps against drones and frigs on ships that have a leftover upper slot, but is useless against battleships due to range. On one run when I tried a VNI with 5x Augmented Wasps vs a group of 3 battleships in kinetic penalty weather it was still too slow to bring down the battleships and died due to timer. This was 800+ DPS applied to them, and I mean solid applied, running tracking comp with tracking script + VNI hull bonus + kinetic penalty from lvl 3 dark site.
Automata supressor structures. They don’t do anywhere near enough damage to drones to be used reliably to kill drone swarms in time to avoid the timer death, and are not reliable enough in spawn RNG. You may or may not get them. Can’t count on it.
Gila - can’t do enough DPS without using at least augmented drones or faction damage enhancers, hence completely negating its use on TQ, too expensive to lose for far too little gain. Risk vs reward does not average out.
Munin - can’t fit enough tracking to accomodate for range necessary for battleships and tracking for frigates / drones. Unable to rely on support structures due to their spawn RNG.
VNI - bad altogether, even fitted for drone tracking comp + drone navigation computer, drones still died too easily. Unable to get pass sites that have too many supressor structures. Structure + ship type spawn RNG kills it.
Sacrilege - same as the VNI, even worse.
Cerberus - HAM fit unable to kill frigates and drones quickly enough, RLML fit unable to kill battleships in time to beat the timer (mainly due to reload time on RLMLs).
Deimos - blaster fit, unable to kill battleships due to short range, railgun fit unable to kill drone swarms and frigates fast enough to beat timer.
Overall I was able to complete too few sites, and the ones that I did complete were based on RNG, basically got lucky on spawns, either didn’t have too many battleships or didn’t have too many frigates / drones.
I do not see anyway to reliably and on average complete these without using faction or bling or mutated modules, thus making them entirely not doable on TQ. There is simply no way to come ahead in ISK costs of ships + pods. Note again that I am referring to lvl 3+ sites, not lower. And this doesn’t even include suspect status from running lvl 4+, throw that in and its a huge ISK sink, not gain.
The Vedmak - I thought that just maybe, these sites were optimized to be completed in the Vedmak, that would sorta make sence. However the Vedmak currently seems to be extremely sub-par vs the other ships.
It lacks range to stand against battleships even with its extra tank, can’t DPS them fast enough while dipping in/out to beat the timer. It does OK against drones / frigs due to smartbombs, but just barely OK, not good, and thats when used in conjunction with automata supressor. When unlucky and don’t have a supressor spwn, it can’t make the timer.
Overall I have to bling to be able to complete sites reliably due to spawn RNG, thus making this content unusable on TQ.
The sites need to have either much lowered spawn RNG and state on the filament whta the expected spawns are so that ships / fits can be matched better to them, or everything needs to be lowered so its doable in T2/T1 fits, and I mean the lvl 4 sites need to be doable in T2/T1 fits, otherwise they’re just completely not worth it beyond the novelty factors.
Loot wise - since the patch I haven’t gotten a single mutaplasmid, which will be the main income from these. On the sites that I got lucky with spawns and was able to complete it was so close on timer that I had to leave the pods behind several times thus for me at least, negating the whole point of running the sites in the 1st place.
Overall feedback on lvl 1-2 sites is positive, while lvl 3+ sites is negative so far. Lvl 1 sites can be completed in almost anything and can be done by new ish players. Lvl 2 sites still have ship flexibility so they can be done in many ways thus making them interesting, though ships can be lost if not careful. Lvl 3 sites are too spawn dependant, too much RNG vs ships / fits. Lvl 4 and 5 take fits that are too specialized and too expensive. given the timer + suspect tag they are completely not worth doing, useless content in its current form.
Hmm… so i had 5 triglavian bs in a Tier 3 site that simply raped my pretty good tanked isthar at overheated ab speed at full transversal at 60km range.
Is that intended?
At lvl 5 it may be, it may be required to bling + use mutated modules to complete and is weather / effect dependant.
On 1 of my L3s got a heavy supressor spawned next to the pod and gate and had a ton of frigates + drones + a couple cruisers while flying a Gila. yea … When I think about it it would have been even worse if I was in a turret boat cause no way in hell I can shoot all those frigs + cruisers and the supressor takes too long with drones.
I had another similar thing happen in Cerberus, couldn’t shoot the pod to loot it. Timer running, had to get out of the instance before collapse, not enough time to fly out of supressor range then back then to the gate.
Against bs’s you need to either be 70km’s away (out of arena) or speed tanking them at 28km’s.
Ran a T4 gamma in a dual large aux shield rep mwd vagabond with strong Soothsayer/blue pill and full high grade crystal set, lvl 6 tracking implant, lvl 5 drug implant’s and level 6 speed implant.
The timer ran out 3 seconds before I jumped the last game… man that was too close, loot was 12 iso and a faction small gun, but almost lost about 3.5bil, and spent 50mil on drug’s which would not be cost effective at all xD.
I guess on TQ I’m sticking to Tier 3.

I still have this deep hatred for the fact everything and their dog shoots your drones.The trig bs group fight i thought a bit more about it and more and more…aaaand…In a tier 4 it may be possible to run it BUT you need to rush straight into them with high dps and burn as many as possible before they all reach max hp because thats when their rr is split up across all ships after they’ll just facetank you.
So you need an mwd a bit of dmg projection maybe 20km good capacitor,some buffer else you might melt,and some faith maybe?
One annoying thing is as soon as you land in a new pocket you got no time to think a bit the rats run at you instantly a small cloak timer would help the player make a plan for what he’s seeing.
This is a really good point. Right now in the higher tiers I feel I have about 5 seconds to commit to a plan, and if you make the wrong decision you’re basically toast. 15 seconds to think about it would make a difference.

Got wrecked by the last vedmak in a vedmak disintegrator group as i was barely hanging on in 2% structure under neuting aswel,fought some of those mixed sleeper cruiser seeker and other junk groups felt stressful really not something i’d call fun even with a good fit and hardwirings etc.
Had some drone swarms siting next to a tracking pylon and even webing them didn’t feel satisfying kept missing alot.
Droped my hammerheads once during a sleeper fight before i could recall them from 15km away from me 1 died so much for having that extra drone if i need it further down the pockets(btw this is happening alot i am genuinely concerned about deploying drones now if i don’t have spares because if they die i can die too)
Most of the fights relied only on guns didnt feel worthwhile to launch drones incase they die and i might need that dps for a bs or more down the road.
All in all to me knowing that i can face a triglavian bss rr group or vedmak disintegrator group in a pocket causes stress for any drone i might lose along the way any cap charge i have to spend on other groups to fight any seconds that are lost from the timer.
It’s a stressful environment on Sisi now where we lose nothing, and earlier during tests i was genuinely feeling fatigued from the more intense environment inside after 8-10 sites I can’t say how it’ll feel on TQ when there’s genuine stuff to lose.
I will continue small testing with a bit more 1-2 days before expansion is deployed on TQ if nothing changes for the better i wont touch the sites and advise anyone else who asks me not to also.
