the whole concept of abyssal pockets is random spawns. to predetermine the spawns would make the content crap.
I ran a bunch of sites (50 or more a few weeks ago when they first came out) to get my fits figured out. Ishtar was working great to tier 3 and decent in 4âs though not great. My Deimos was getting through 3âs. Now they changed the aggro table so much that Drone boats are basically completely useless. If something doesnât get drastically adjusted before this hits Tranquility I wonât even bother running a tier 1. A 500-600 million Ishtar should at the very least be able to get through a tier 3. I have nearly perfect skills and am not a bad pilot. Will run the Deimos again tomorrow, but not to optimistic there either.
The Triglavian waves are especially out of balance with the other waves it seems as well. They are based on the RNG of the ship spawn sometimes simply impossible.
On top of that as far as risk vs reward goes the loot table seems to be severely skewed to nnot even being worth it. at the moment it would appear I can make better isk hacking relics. With substantially less at riskâŚ
I was really looking forard to these sites. The more I run them on the test server the less thaat is the case.
Yes, but it should be so, that random spawns should force player to adapt strategy, not the fit of the ship.
There is a reason CCP breathed a light breath of âbuffâ on the HACâs only months before this content was released, and it is clearly so that they are the ships to turn to for this content. Why is this a surprise to everyone. HACs have long lacked a real place in the game and now that CCP is giving them one everyone is complainingâŚ?
The cerberus doesnât require a web if fit with RLML.
You fit the ship as an omni tank. thats all the content is forcing you to do, and that is no hardship really. And surviving in the T4/T5 filaments is forcing the player to adapt strategyâŚ
I thought that until i tested it. The resist profile is its biggest issue.
Look at that:
Now how omni tank will help me to counter neut, TD and damps? I think there is more, than only omni tank, what is required for ship adaptationâŚ
The reload on rapid lights means it pretty consistently loses the ehp/rr grind as in that 35s they repair the damage youve done and by the time you kill them you die to timer. I think its clear that on TQ the cerb is a no-go.
They are. As are (generally) Tier 4s.
not anymore by my estimation. new aggro table has made drone boats useless in 4âs and mostly useless in 3âs as well
Yes! The vedmak will be awesome when it hits TQ and im excited to see how these ships (once they arrive in large enough numbers) impact the meta.
My eagle fit has changed somewhat since i last posted it. At work now but can share it with you in game later.
I have consistenly succeded in all the -res t4 filaments (gamma, firestorm, electrical and exotic) in a HAC with all resists above 75%.
Large cap batteries help alleivate a little neut pressure - the onues is on you to prioritise targets. TD is made up for by skills and an implant (and tracking comp on an armour tanked ship). damps are not an issue.
It is clear that CCP has aimed to give turret ships a breath of life with this content. If you try and use ships that are negatively impacted by the design criteria you are clearly going to lose.
Missile/drone ships have had a place of dominance in the general meta (particularly pve) for a long time. CCP have seen this and are trying to give turrets prominance. So take the hint and donât use a drone boatâŚ
Just like fighting blood raider ships where you know neut pressure is an issue you would not fly a heavy cap use laser ship for example and would compensate with cap-less damage systems, preferably with passive shield regen. This is similar. I really donât get why people are complaining so much.
There is plenty of content out there for drone ships.
Current cerb fit, well the one I flew yesterday a bunch obviously implants for missile dmg and application, swapping some gear for faction frees the rig slot so you can swap enhancer for 3rd bcu and add 2nd flare rig instead
@Dark_Engraver Iâm guessing on TQ you would bling this slightly with a republic fleet large cap battery to remove the need for the Medium Ancillary Current Router II and thereby allowing an additional rig to improve tank/damage application?
Iâve started testing with republic fleet large cap batteryâs and it does make a difference. and for 30m on TQ there is no reason why you wouldnât use one.
Also for example a faction web will ALWAYS be worth the money for this content!
Yea among things that battery BTW the thukker one has 28%neut resist and tiny bit less cap rf has 27%
I also forgot which slot mindflood goes into might be worth thinking about it basicly making a cap buffer tank of sort with battery and drug
that additional 1% neut defense over the lose of cap recharge balances out mostly and the additional cost makes it a less viable choice IMO.
Also, not sure if you have noticed but neut behaviour has changed too. now slighly less threatening than it used to be and combined with npc group changes means the RF large cap battery has prominance.
Slot 1 - same as blue pill/Exile. not worth the cap at expense of tank. thats what hardwiring implants are for.
