+1, lots of great conversations and make highsec great again
Simply put, no.
Yeah, “we need Rorquals in highsec”.
copy the “share link” in the thread, and it will quote.
this allows to quote stupidity :
Then you can quote specific part of it, eg obvious self contradictions
vs
It is also possible to quote another post, and edit the information manually (you need topic ID from page link, post number, and author name).
it’s possible to quote a part of a post, eg yours :
by just selecting the text.
This is no more possible when the post is in a locked topic. So you need to make a link to that post first, then submit, and THEN you can quote the parts of the post you are interested in quoting.
Yep. So, what I said: you quote another post, for example,
This is no more possible when the post is in a locked topic.
and change the resulting quote. In this case you need to change Anderson_Geten
(author name), 129
(post number), 222164
(topic ID), and, of course, the quote itself.
I used it here.
sounds very impractical to me.
You need to get the correct topic id, post id.
BTW I think the author name is irrelevant
edit : it’s not ! I thought it would update the quote with the correct name.
They are written in the post link, actually.
For example, here is a link to your last post:
https://forums.eveonline.com/t/allow-full-access-to-capitals-in-highsec-combined-with-a-broad-ehp-nerf-across-all-capital-hulls/222164/131
222164
is a topic ID, and 131
is a post ID.
yeah but it’s more work than just pasting the previous post’s link and copying in the discussion, then making quotes on that copied one.
That’s why I wrote it seems impractical.
But maybe once you are used to it, it becomes fine.
I respectfully disagree. I started my topic about a year ago and it still has fewer comments than this thread that you started last week; months-long dry spells haven’t been uncommon. I’m perfectly fine letting a topic sit undiscussed; in my experience forcing a discussion in a situation like this rarely ends well.
But…your thread, your prerogative.
I’d rather not, thanks. You seem like a nice enough person, but I think it’s safe to say that we think about EvE in radically different ways.
Mind linking a screenshot including my name and forum post, because I never said I was a game developer lol.
Also, what does this have to do with the proposal at hand?
Bittervets can’t come up with any better argument so they have to make up insults and go off topic.
We must be strong and believe in highsec capitals, bittervet rage is proof we are winning.
you said game designer not developer… a lot of your “naari Narian” posts have you detailing “oh im a designer i can do eve better than ccp”
create all the lil forum alts you want, to defend getting nullsec stuff in hisec… its not needed, you do not speak for those of us who live in hisec and prefer pve over pvp, though i may join @Knowledgeminer and a few others and hell maybe even CODE, to just keep you from enjoying hisec mining.
Umm I’m not Naari Narian?
thats a load of bull… anything with the last name narian, or any variety, has to be the same person… all yall end up being in the same corp, ICANP… so its obvious.
