I think the tank of those options is fine. It’s OK that there are ships we struggle to kill and that there is an easy counter to suicide ganking (which exists even longer than CODE. btw).
What I think is out of balance is the yield difference between those ships. The Hulk and Covertor need a severe buff in my opinion. There should be a bigger advantage for people taking a risk.
On the other hand the Orca could use some nerf. It just became the best solo mining ship in the game and that is pretty stupid. It is a mining command ship, more focus on that and less on actual mining. I would say the correct balance would be something like: if you have three Hulks, adding an Orca gives slightly more benefit in yield trough boosts than adding another Hulk.
And that’s the problem here because PVP is spoiled by a ‘you are free to go everywhere’ while PVE is limited to a ‘you can do what you want but PVP comes first’…
Don’t you see it?
That’s the whole point…
That’s BS and you KNOW IT…
You cannot put away the sole basics of PVE with the reasoning ‘pvp has also given up something’…
Well, then there is a very clear PvE preference in the rest of the game, look at all those ores and missions and whatnot. Better to balance them and reduce PvE creep in the game.
So, if you are warping out of PvE site because the enemies do too much damage, you just escaped PvP?
Well, other players would not agree with your assessment that all players are PvPers, so there is nothing that needs to be changed other than your views.
Besides, the topic is about alpha ganking, not about PvP as a whole.
