The bittervets call them ‘wow players’ ,they hate them so much…
In reality those playertype is the ‘normal player’ these days and CCP has to accept this fact and get rid of 2004 and change the game to what the market wants and not what the bittervets would keep…

Well you’re so damn sure that changing the game to make hisec a PvP combat free zone will attract millions of customers that you must have some sort of evidence to back up your claims.

@Darlo_Kubika You and EvE, clearly not a marriage made in heaven. In fact it may be just a one night stand. You demand to change the rules for your play style that is totally the opposite of how the game was built. The world that you want to have would be very unwelcoming to those you call “bittervets”. I suspect the “bitttervets” on the other hand welcome players like yourself to come and live in “their” world. See the difference ? See the consequences ?
What exactly would the point be of a game where you can shoot lasers at rocks in total peace and oblivion ? Oh dear Bob or James or w/e, the crowds it would attract, they’d be coming in droves through the internet… Asteroid belts ripped to nothingness by swarms of miners everywhere anytime, angry crowds on the forums demanding more asteroids to mine, and strong measures to combat rampant deflation ! Until one day one miner thinks “I’m gonna blow up that guy and his shiny Orca next to me, I’ve had enough of his pigging” and starts a revolt. Yes, your idea could maybe create “content” that way…

This is the reason this game has problems…certanities of the bittervets and CCP even listening to them…
Ignoring them and make the game fit for 2020 in the way I mentioned would be way more reasonable…
And yes.it would be another game…but way more populated simply because the things i said are WANTED by a wast number of players today…and yes,the bittevets would leave…but also be replaced by others…

Eve is indeed a PvP game, but like Scoots you’re using an enormous brush to paint PvE players with. Some of us non combative types see the fact that Eve is primarily a PvP game as a challenge, one which we willingly take on in order to succeed at Eve in our own ways.
I’m a PvE player in that I don’t engage in direct PvP, however I do understand that Eve is what it is and strive to succeed at it regardless. Certainly there are those that share my playstyle that constantly demand that they be allowed to do so in peace and without risk; to them I say play something else, because PvE without risk has no value IMHO.

Some of PVE obey to this ‘Eve is a PVP game’ BS instead of fighting it to the core because it was told you it has to be so for years.
