Point is if you want to gank someone in highsec you should have a omega subscription.
Autopilot takes the tedious travel of 43 systems out of the game. Even manual piloting a freighter has an align time of what, 60 seconds? People move stuff so they can pvp.
Im sorry but I see gate camping and ganking as sorry pvp. As soon as u fleet up and push a fight to any of these leeches they dock up. Even if its fair. But its someones playstyle even though I look down on it.
But if you dont pay $. You shouldnât be able to partake in any pvp outside null, wm, or lowsec.
Youâre going to have to define what âacceptableâ is in this case. Like for example, Iâve been told that beating someone to within an inch of their life just to take their Nike shoes is âunacceptable.â But Iâve also been told that eating dessert before dinner is âunacceptable.â And it all starts getting a bit confusing at some point. In fact, pretty much every single action in life is unacceptable, given that you speak with enough people.
You know, you almost sound like you think that banning alpha from ganking will change something. Literally no one uses alphas for ganking if you have almost free omegas that are extremely more efficient and can be multiboxed.
Banning them will not make your AFK freighter an inch saver.
Yeah, those lines and a quick look at your killboard really show that we have a PvP expert talking here. lol
It gets worse than that; itâs an LP farmer. This person isnât just not PvPing while making claims and talking â â â â about PvP and PvPers, but is actively exploiting the gameâs flagship PvP feature in order to farm money. Absolutely disgusting and reprehensible.
You complaining about other people running or docking gives it really away that you either know nothing about EVE PvP, are not very good at it or are simply a F1 pusher that fires when others tell him.
Excellent post and you came to the same realisation as I did in terms of being so in favour of gankers, but you gave it a damn good go.
I came to the realisation that CCP was bending over backwards for gankers when wreck EHP was adjusted in rapid time once AG started ganking the wrecks in the same cheap throw away ships that the gankers used to blow stuff up.
You cannot beat the gankers and the developer. But you can every so often throw the odd spanner in their works when they get complacentâŚ
Ive never lost a hauler in highsec. But zi have lost an occasional barge. These people, would be in lowsec or null or wh. Instead there are hundreds of people in highsec. Such a waste. If it was up to me.
-Require red safety in highsec only too omegas.
-Double the aggression timer.
-Make negative sec status undockable to npc stations.
-Make negative faction standing undockable in those faction npc stations.
-Remove insurance from negative security statuses.
-Remove ecm burst effects to non aggressed ships. Allow Ecm burst on all non combat ships.
Start taking screenshots then, since you claim I have a habit of going back and deleting my posts.
You should have just apologized and backed off your utterly false and completely stupid accusation. But no, you have gone to a level that is like claiming there is an invisible pink unicorn out in the yard, and you donât even have one inkiing why you have zero integrity.
BTW, there are some people lurking here who have the power to delete ANYBODYâS postsâŚand they do.
I am not ashamed of a damn thing I have said here, not even that which I have openly apologized for or admitted was a mistake. Someone like you does not even have the guts to make the admissions I have. And you have the gall to accuse me of not only deleting posts, but imply I am lying about it? You are in such a hole now, that 10 years of credible posts could not fill it back to even. Get wrekt.
No villainy is acceptable just for requiring skill to do it.
Suicide ganking is acceptable because its an established part of the game. No further excuse is necessary. However that does not mean I cannot question and call out a gankers motiveâs, mentality, or choice of targetâŚor failure to even consider who he is killing.
Only allowing omegas to do high sec suicide ganks is certainly not top of the list of ideas I support, but I will take it as a close second.
It removes options from new players that start as alpha. Suicide ganking is one of the most interesting things you can do in this game and it clearly requires Omega to be efficient, but you can start out as alpha just fine.
You donât fix the game by making it more boring.
So you abandon the post of just a few minutes ago claiming â0 practical effectâ.
Good Bob man. Maybe after setting all hi sec alphasâ safeties to yellow, we can add flapjack manufacturing to expand this freedom of action you want.
Just because I understand that there would be 0 impact on institutionalized ganking, doesnât mean I want Alphas to be restricted from experimenting with criminal activity.
If anything, this is a veiled way that you people are trying to employ in order to sideline criminal activity, and prevent new players from finding out about it âlest they be turned.â
Oh dear. Now I am part of âyou peopleâ. (sigh)
As much as I believe that you would be correct to say most of these posts that seem even just a teensy bit against ganking are from those types, what I have time and time again advocted for is simply steps taken for better understanding of high sec suicide ganking for the sake of new players.
But since what I get for this runs the gamut between being ignored and attacked, its hard for me to really give enough of a crap to dissect ideas down to the potential layer of killing suicide ganking altogether.
But you know, its not like anyoneâs ideas are getting implimented much anyway. Even those that do get tortured and mutilated first.
lol this again ) as far as i know (and i am a ganker) the change was a null thing to stop titans or whatever big shiny ships are flown in null wrecks being destroyed before they could be looted and nothing to do with highsec and the 2 or 3 wrecks a month that got shot.
