I’ll admit I didn’t wait for you to show before I spoke in the presence of your absence, but some of the communication logs that find their way to me - not from PIE to be fair - tends to show the same lack of regard for someone’s absence. Even in places where it can be safely assumed someone’s absence is a given.

Still, since you did call it out, a quick question might be in order. You have on occasion spoken of dealing harshly with “unauthorized slaver raids” as you dismiss Imperial Navy slaver fleets in our space as not being representative of the Empire, so may I ask exactly what you’re referring to in that regard? Fought any Imperial Navy fleets lately, perhaps?

Yes, actually, though not technically Imperial Navy, as they were traitors serving a former Holder that had defected to Sansha’s Nation. That happens on occasion. We take care of it as need be.

Lady Admiral Newelle does represent the politics of House Sarum well. It’s appropriate: she’s a Sarum vassal, I believe.
