Are You Planning to Vote for CSM?

There’s only one candidate that i’ve ever seen in eve, ever heard of, so there’s only one name to vote for; a certain magic canadian.
This whole system with numerous candidates in a certain order is extremely confusing and i don’t see any logic in it at all. There simply aren’t 10 worthy candidates. This current system looks like some jita scam orchestrated by ccp. Why should anyone have to add 9 complete strangers i don’t want to see on the csm to the list? I left the last 9 slots empty, for obvious reasons. If it still counts, or not, idk, it’s too confusing as is. Ccp should get rid of this mess and allow only one vote for one candidate. Preferrably also one vote per actual player and not also their alts.

I want to see this post.

Stop moderating critical voices if they dont suit your ethics.

Yeah I remember him, I had a few erm, discussions with him in here .

But I haven’t seen him for a while now, but you’re correct, at least he could be bothered to post and chat in here.

Nothing says it can not be a as unified as low or nullsec. I did not say it would be easy or simple. In fact I pointed out that it would take a lot and with no assurances that it would work in one or two election cycles. It is not head in the clouds any more than when low and nulsec decided to organize and start voting on an agreed slate of candidates. We can either be the change we want to see happen or complain and do nothing.

Your post proves my point of it is just easier to sit back and complain than to actually do something.

I am sorry @Mike_Azariah , but there is no way I could vote for somebody from Joe90

for less than 1 billion isk

Support me in any of the ANTI-NEUT stuff I’m posting and I will vote you for the rest of times….

Despite… You’re the only one that has an active Yt channel….

Same as Gustaff, show support for once in my ANTI-NEUT campaign or other seemingly riduculous stuff I post and you’ll get my vote for a long time…

Ok, I voted TWO guyz and 6 girlZ… just to make ThiNgZ moer 3qU4L

Doesn’t sound equal as you are more girls than boys, but that is good .

Just make sure the boys serve the girls by doing the boring stuff like hauling loot, while the girls do the fun stuff like popping miners..

Just launched a huge voting campaign for the alliance and friends. I am confident to raise some-hundred votes for WH/smallscale/non-blob/anti-projection candidates.

Sadly, being a noobish I can’t vote for someone. I don’t understand how much they can help or change the system.

They can raise their voice when CCP asks for feedback and point out possible problems that comes with this or that idea. Or bring some topics to CCPs attention. They cannot enforce anything, but guide discussions.

You are best advised to look at the candidates and their campaign topics to look in which regions of space they are active and what their opinions are on some of the games aspects. And then vote for those you think have the right stance towards your game style.

So if you are a highsec-missionrunner or -miner, vote for someone who stands for making that part fo the game more interesting or has many years or expertise with it. Just as example.

Any time you have to pay a fee to cast a vote, nope.

That’s right.

WHO ARE THESE EMPORERS AND CHOSEN LEADERS WHO FORCE US TO GRIND THEIR MINERALS FOR THESE…GODS AND GODDESSES ABOVE US IN THEIR SHIPS! And then leave us to rot on planets like we are nothing but trash!

A multitude of planets overhearing the illegal broadcast go silent. The sentiment being echoed across New Eden, slowly and then in explosive fury, crowds begin to overtake command centers.

Time to send in the Valkyries.

What if I prefer death and destruction, pure anarchy?

Every empire has the criminals it deserves.

Did you want something?

I voted for you. Because you post on the forums and consequently you come off as an actual person. If more candidates did that I might have voted for more guys. I will never vote for someone I don’t know who they are on some level. Might as well throw the dice on them in that case. So, keep doing what you do, Mike.

I’ve been part of a large nullsec bloc in the past, though, and from my experience members of such alliances get told from above who to vote for. When I was there, I always ignored what they told us, because I can think for myself. And secondly I saw that as voter manipulation, and I am strongly against such a thing. But unfortunately, most nullsec members don’t think for themselves and they do what their alliance heads tell them to do. Which is the reason I don’t have a lot trust in CSM ultimately. It’s not a freely-elected body at the end of the day.

My vote for Mike was free, and I hope he gets in.

Yeah know sometimes it is better that those near immortals do not take a more active interest in what happens to those on the surface of a planet.. Not all capsuleers would be nice and some would be very naughty vampire god/dsesses.. It is something to ponder on when the lights go out for the night and you are in your bed under your sheets and blankets. While those near immortals are busy blowing each other and pirates out of the sky. Just saying..

No one is complaining, but you. You are just being told the reality of what the CSM is and who it was created for. It was never for HiSec, even at its inception. There is nothing Hisec wants that would even make the CSM necessary.

HiSec. Does. Not. Care. About. CSM.

And Null blocs are called blocs for a reason. Low and null have never organized. It’s just null blocs who were already organized in the fact that they are alliances. A far cry from random HiSec solo players. The fact that you would even compare the two blows my mind.

Nobody cares about Highsec miners.
