Dad? Is that you?

The mark you make on the hangar floor after your fall will undoubtedly be of saleable value.

Have you ever considered the possibility that you may be wrong, and will you stop posting if that turns out to be the case?

and others not beeing able to face the reality…this is in no way my problem…

Apparently not being able to face the reality of Eve is exactly what your problem is.

no.not one second…

And you apparently not able to face that this could and will be changed by PA in the wink of an eye

Guys stop flagging others if they insult me…i can’t be insulted and i don’t care about PC so simply stop it…

Me beeing insulted is not your concern…

Because EVE could always become HKO … one day.
But then, many things may happen … one day.

And you wonder why people think you’re a either a nutjob or a troll; the other remote possibility is satire, but I doubt that you have the brains to pull that one off.

Poe’s law confirmed.

And you apparentls not able to face that this could be changed by PA in the wink of an eye

I know that it’s a possibility, but I don’t see PA risking their investment in that way; it would make no sense.

If they wanted a game similar to Eve in their portfolio but with a PvE ā€œshardā€, it would have been cheaper to make one.

You know…to make suggestions to make a game better and more mainstream is in no way ā€œbadā€ even if you don’t like said suggestions…this is something some people have to learn i guess and this is why they insist to call me troll or carebaer or even taunt me(which is not possible)

Why would they buy a company like CCP if they not want to make money with it?
In which world are you living in which this buy should not result in the MAXIMUM profit possible?
In which world is PA reponsible for terms like ā€œtraditionā€ or ā€œdogmatism of playersā€?

Come down your high horse and see that this is not about your feelings…it’s about profit.

NONE of the suggested changes would change eve to the worse in opposite,it would attract people that don’t want PVP and yes let some dogmatic people ragequit but they are no loss at all…

Donald, is that you?..

There are more ways to make money than turning a long running niche PvP game into something else.

The money isn’t in Eve itself, it’s in the associated IP. If I was in their position I’d let CCP do their thing as they always have, and ride the back of the history of Eve and the stories that it generates to get a decent foothold in the rapidly expanding mobile market with the IP.

There’s a huge number of people out there that love to read about Eve, but don’t want to play it for one reason or another, they are an untapped market for expanding the IP onto other growing platforms.

In which world are you living in which this buy should not result in the MAXIMUM profit possible?

One where PA are hopefully in it for the long game, one where investments are made long term in the pursuit of greater returns; not for a quick buck.

If we were talking about EA, then yes you’d probably be right, they’d gut the game and then shutter it along with the rest of the games they’ve killed off in the pursuit of profit.

Come down your high horse and see that this is not about your feelings…it’s about profit.

I know it’s about profit.

It’s also about you being so cocksure that you’re right, and that everybody that disagrees with you is a fool. You need to wind your neck in sir; most of the hostility directed at you and your opinions is entirely on you.

We’re as likely to be right as you are, so is anybody else with a differing opinion; this being speculation and all.

NONe of the suggested changes would change eve to the worse in opposite,it would attract people that don’t want PVP and let some dogmatic people ragequit but thy are no loss at all…

Change it and they will come isn’t a business plan, it’s a bloody prayer.

high horse … dogmatic

lol, physician, heal thyself.

Even if you dislike what PA will do to the game you will not stop them from doing it…

Buy CCP for yourself THEN you can have a word about it,but if not PA WILL do what promises the MOST profit and this will NOT content keeping the PVP possible everywhere status and that’s for sure…

PVP everywhere SCARES AWAY 2/3 of the NEW players(best guess).this is the REASON EVE has about 35 k online at a given time and not 350k…

The fluctuation of new players is way too big and this has multiple reasons(real time skilling that takes way too long, and therefore the real reason behind buyable skilltime, which ime is only another half baked solution by ccp f.e.) but beeing in constant danger of simply beeing killed without a place beeing safe from this crap is one MAJOR reason why potential new players leave…

Denying this simple fact just because of crap like ā€œtraditionā€ does not help at all…the mmog world has changed and blindfolding yourself is NOT the answer to it

PA will see a game that endured for 15 years die.
That’s all they’re going to end up doing.

oouuuuhh, boooouuuuuhhh, CODE. man bad man

How can you be bitter if you do not care? :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Anyways, everyone cheer up… its just a game and everything will work out ok.

Balos. You keep saying you love this game. Why do you continue to crusade to try and kill it?

PA aren’t complete idiots. They purchased CCP because their game has survived for fifteen years.
EVE is different from every other MMO out there, and because of this it has a player base that is both extremely loyal and also extremely critical of it… but despite all the crap we send their way we have players who have stuck with the game for fifteen years. Hell, despite some breaks I’ve been here off and on for the last twelve years. We speak, they listen… usually they ignore us, because we are a fountain of enriched pigshit for the most part.

Unfortunately, every now and then there is a small but extremely vocal group that demands changes in exchange for them shutting up. Generally this group is composed of the extremely dedicated PVE players who don’t believe that they should have to adapt to EVE being EVE and wish to exist in complete safety as they wank to pronhub while they mine or mission afk.

Look, I get it. I flew missions and mined for years. I started back in 06 when the new player experience was ā€˜here’s a ship, now go do stuff.’ There was no PLEX so losing a ship HURT if you didn’t have insurance… T2 Ships boggled the mind because why would anyone fly something so expensive if you got so little back when it died? I still remember being so excited about buying my first blueprint original for a ship… I saved up for what seemed forever to buy the raven BPO. However, I always understood that what I had could be taken from me, either by NPC’s or players who were dedicated to make it so. I never lost a barge when mining because I learned how to use the tools available to me and never played AFK.

It nearly bored me into quitting the game. I was lucky enough to have a friendly pvp player reach out to me and offer to teach me the ways of the dark side. It was the best decision I ever made in the game. I discovered that those scary pvp people were in fact the most entertaining and social people in the game. I learned how to not only kill my fellow man, but enjoy doing it.

To be fair, in the years since then CCP has gone out of their way to make the PVE experience more engaging, but not once have they faltered from their initial view that everyone should be at risk everywhere, no matter the sector of space. With the incessant screaming of pve players who desire complete security they have made compromises over the years in hopes of drowning out that annoying whining sound. It hasn’t worked. Every time your lot is given an inch, another mile is demanded.

You and yours will not be satisfied until you’re granted your wish in it’s fullest and you make EVE just like every other game out there, and in the process murder everything that has given it the longevity that has sustained it for fifteen years.

This is why I and others are responding so hostilely towards you. You, in the name of the game you claim to love, are trying to murder the game we absolutely do love by turning it into every other game out there. You would trade a loyal player base that’s willing to spend DECADES playing their favorite space game for a horde of shitty little derps who’ll play for a year and quit, only to be replaced by more shitty little derps.

This crap is why I kill people when shitlords like you suggest this asinine horseshit.
