You realise that only a minority of players play in null. Something like 10-20%.
And of them, many were happy the black out.
Most players, the vast majority of players, were not directly affected by black out. Instead they were getting better wealth for their efforts.
It was a small minority that did not like the blackout.

I will agree that if fewer players are mining because its “too dangerous,” this should drive up the value of mining - as long as demand remains constant. If players are quitting, and if large scale wars are put on hold due to “chaos uncertainty” … demand for materials goes down.

Have CCP ever said anything straight?
Do they intend null to be endgame and high to be beginnerland? Is this something that exists outside of the forums?
With the ending of Black Monday, will they explain the actual reasoning behind it, or just post some unclear lore? Or even bother?
The fact they let people argue ad infinitum on the forums over stuff they could just clear up is very frustrating.

Don’t forget that CCP is very pleased with the reinvigorated interest and attention to EVE that blackout created. They were so pleased that they bragged about how they had to open a second topic on the matter because the first comment topic hit the post cap.
