Can I log in after midnight my time to get the last days reward for the event?

Wrong.

A hotel room costs whatever the hotel wants in return for your stay. This can be money, a coupon, or rewards from a point card.

As long as you present something that the Hotel is willing to accept, they will give you a room.

CCP wanted you to log in once a day, for 16 days, between the downtime of 2nd and 20th of May, to receive the gifts.

This is the “currency” as you will, that CCP requested.

I assumed the 20th meant the 20th and not the 21st.

I also assumed that the gifts reset on downtime.

Wait. I didnt assume that. That was written on the blogpost.

EVE’s sixteenth anniversary has kicked off with daily downtime today and will run through until May 20th!

Did you ever ask yourself why it kicked off at downtime on the 2nd? And not after midnight?

Guess you never did.

Print this out and glue it to your monitor:

Less time spent finding excuses to put things off means less time spent whining after you missed out.

Your bridge is missing you

@Solonius_Rex Is it fun being you bro?

You stand to lose nothing by me gaining this little thing. Why do you fight it? Just to be a dick?

Says you.

Ive got my points, so Im happy.

And i also used logic, so Im happy.

You are refusing to answer my question because it defeats your argument.

So thanks for admitting defeat.

lol, you don’t have a valid question, and you know it - just trolling

to quote myself:

this bit is the important bit: CCP use both terms in their advertising

CCP aren’t going to hand out extra days to those who missed it, but they might want a little more clarity in their advertising, is all (as pointed out earlier - semantics)

No, maybe because I wasn’t playing on the 2nd, as I wasn’t subbed (pretty sure I mentioned when I subbed I had, what I thought was 16/16 days). Not going to argue anymore. Pretty sure that it is obvious that the way this “event” was presented was ambiguous enough, especially for a noob that it doesn’t meet the standard of customer service. I don’t think you are grasping what it takes for a company to make money or stay viable.

Have a good one and bless your heart.

of course, if they had answered this very question when asked previously for clarification - then it would have been less contentious:

I already knew I probably wouldn’t get the last day, and that’s just a fact of the situation - but no one bothered to clarify

The question is valid.

But if you want I can switch it up a bit to make it easier for you.

Is there a downtime on may 20th?

Yes, or no?

and

From the first link:

“You can claim all the rewards on offer, so long as you log in for at least sixteen of the days during the celebrations.”

From the second link:

“You can claim all rewards offered as long as you log in at least 16 times across the event, and they don’t need to be consecutive logins.”

Well, I’ve logged in on 16 different days, yet I only got 15 rewards.
Care to explain?

If true, that’s the first legit issue in this thread. You need to open a ticket (or whatever it’s called here).

Is that the best you could come up with? Seriously, you need to go join Foggy under the bridge - its amateur hour.

We’ve already been through this, an EVE day runs from d/t to d/t and thus accommodates two irl days, to quote myself yet again:

My counter question is thus:

When does an Eve day start and end? - I’m being generous and not asking a closed question…

Bridge needs you… no one else does

I googled ISD because I didn’t know what it was. Here is the quote:

“ISD is a group of volunteers who graciously share their free time in order to assist in a variety of tasks that all go towards supporting and enriching the players’ experiences in the world of EVE. They answer questions from players, help hunt down and resolve problems, provide news and fiction as well as acting as good-will ambassadors throughout the community.”

Might want to compare those two statements. Though I do thank you for volunteering.

Or at least somehow mark the stuff people can’t get if they start late so there are no false expectations.

Well, I know the screenshot says 4 hours, but when I redeemed my 15th day yesterday (the 19th) around 16:15 “eve time” and the timer said “18 hours left”.

As you say, had the 16th day already been greyed out, then that would have been fine.

DT to DT whatever; it says pretty clearly “We’re super happy to announce that from May 2nd through to May 20th”. Well, today is STILL the 20th in Denver and I’m not able to get the reward… We’re not talking about a box of ammo here; this was for 1 million sp. I hope CCP decides to do the right thing here.

Same here. I thought 20th ment all day on the 20th so instead I’m out 1m sp on 13 accounts.

@Bjorn_Tyrson file a support ticket, it can’t hurt

edit: Just wanted to mention there’s a whole bunch of people on reddit who are also complaining about how ambiguous the date situation was: https://www.reddit.com/r/Eve/comments/bqt6jt/came_back_to_the_game_a_few_hours_too_late/

Hopefully people are filing support tickets so that CCP is aware of the situation and can make a determination.
