Unless you are a multiboxer, you still had a chance. Thanks to some angels who dump PLEX onto the market, it’s not that difficult to pay subscription for one month and then earn ISK to PLEX your account indefinably. I mean in theory if the price of PLEX went up this would be impossible, but just Level 4 PVE works even if you aren’t on every day.
Bless those souls who put PLEX on the market, I wonder who they are.
While I can come up with many conspiracy theories myself, I’ll leave that to others.

The last time I did PvE (not including the couple of abyssal sites I did last year just to experience the content) was in 2011.

You must not have voted with multiple accounts. I did it with 13 Omega accounts and it’s a bloody pain in the behind! Log off account, log in account, vote, 50/50 if the site throws an error and you have to start over. I do NOT want to imagine how much work 350 accounts is going to be or 700. People with that many accounts must work HARD at EVE! Respect! I have a day job that doesn’t have room for hundreds of EVE accounts…
I think it’s fair to say that they were the basis for laws that were in use throughout the Republic and Imperial periods, sure.
