Yeah nice vid using an entry level ship. Almost broke his tank in that final wave. However it’s easy to see he’s definitely an experienced player and probably max skilled as well.
In my opinion these event sites in High Sec space are not designed for new or average skilled players. The level of difficulty from the NPC Ewar is more on-par with content intended for Low, Null and W-hole space.

My main has run three of these sites in a heavily tanked Prophecy.

Tried running these in a few of the recommended fits just to test them out for people and everytime I had to warp in a second ship to save the first ship. Test were all done in null btw. The only ship that did it just fine was a 1bill fit triglavian battle cruiser. Shouldn’t really need to spend a billion or even half that for an event site. Kinda leaves a good portion of the player base out of the action.

I tested drakes and myrms. Didn’t do harbingers but drakes and myrms can’t do it solo without a 600-800mill fit. Not everyone can afford that.

I did one of the wormhole ones in a Myrm last night. I have good tank skills but BC 4, faction heavy drones, no T2 autocannons. Full tank mode 2x MAR II, EANM, DC, Reactive, 2 T1 nano pumps, and a ccc rig, 2 webs, battery and cap rechargers, 220 autocannons up top and a T2 command burst for rapid repair.
With only 460 dps it took forever to get through the site, and I had to manage cap, do some overheating on the last wave whenever I hit 50% armor. The boss is a drek in WH sites, and he neuts hard and ramps up to over 500 dps. The ship tanks 500 dps, but that’s omni because I didn’t know what I was in for. Could probably drop the EANM and DC for an explo hardener and a DDA to make it a little faster.
This fit is under 200m and can run the more difficult wormhole sites. My reactive ended with 35% Explo and 25% Therm resists or so, but I was seeing some EM from the boss in my log. The reactive didn’t change though so I’m not sure if that’s accurate or a glitch.
I got a Rohk skin, advanced accelerator, and probably 30mil worth of crap modules and red loot. I was two holes away from hom so I didn’t bother salvaging. It was funny to see the guys in interdictors and a loki keep trying to find me only to realize they cant enter the site.

Actually, they are easier than an emerging conduit.
I find them a little hard with my harbinger , took me so much time
And wait for it : I thought it could count for the daily mission 
but it is NOT .

Do these sites drop anything? I have gotten fireworks from two sites and a glamourex booster from a third. Yes I am point the guy so he doesn’t warp off just nothing dropping.

Prophercy with maxed drone skills and good eve online skills. T2 fit most expensive mod a republic Fleet battery. everything else is t2 using rocket launchers and drones for the most damage takes longer. Have run about 10 of these now.
Contesting event sites has always been a way of life in events. It’s what is supposed to happen. It leads to pvp sometimes. It’s the reason they are in limited supply.

Well unfortunately I don’t have enough isk to build a ship and make an attempt. I will continue working on that. 300M is unfortunately much more than that spent at the Outpost Event trying but my ship fit were not good and I discovered late how to put together something competitive for the Guristas. This is to learn every day and it is not very pleasant for the Lone wolves like me.
