The semi-lawless frontier of Lowsec has the potential to become much more than it is now as the Empires’ patience with intrusive Capsuleers in Highsec is wearing thin while wormhole resources will see increased demand.”
That’s a bit vague to jump to the conclusion they’re going to remove PVP from High sec. Possible, sure. That being said, there are some systems I’d be happy to see PVP barred, specifically the noob systems. 1 system over? Np, blow 'em up all day. But it’s a big pet peeve of mine, people that go into the newb systems themselves and mess with the new players.
But, yeah, the stagnated, formulaic response of Concord has been an issue for a while. I’d be surprised if this wasn’t more about fixing Concord to be more intuitive/responsive, and maybe some answer at last to some of the remaining issues with war decs.
Those of us who don’t spam on several alts don’t have this restriction.
Kid talks about his lack of a life and common decency online, making the same tired argument as ever “just cuz I act like an ass online doesn’t mean i’m an ass irl”, then tells people to go outside… Wow, just wow. The neckbeard is strong with this one.
Considering the fact that new players start at 0.0 standing with most Empire Factions, this would require a rework of the entire standings system from Character Creation. CCP doesn’t like putting in that kind of time, I mean just look at their abysmal Network Security department, poor guys are fighting to keep the servers up every day and waiting for CCP to axe half their department, again. Departments that put in work aren’t respected at CCP, they only respect people who create content XD Kinda surprised they haven’t hired one of the major Twitch Thots to play their game, the TT fan base is pretty much identical to the Eve online fan base, lonely males between the ages of 13 and 40.
This is one piece of logic that I can’t ever seem to forget. They claim to be against cheating concord, yet they allow people to multibox 12 bots so they can suicide and have a neutral toon scoop the loot? Incompatible perspectives, yet CCP proudly stands by this choice.
Planning? You mean starting a new toon and waiting for it to skill into a suicide Cata? With the 1mill SP link… so about 5 minutes of planning justifies their ability to cheat concord? Ok, sure.
Input Broadcasting is autopilot for people who get the flopsweats over videogames.
You’re perfectly safe from cheaters and glitchers, just learn how to cheat and glitch, great logic. If we enjoy the game, we should look for ways to avoid its rules.
For the average player, yes, this is correct, for nullbears who know how to cheat the system, high sec becomes just as safe as sitting under a supercap umbrella. So again, this is just your hubris in thinking that nullbears are the pinnacle of creation, deserving of all, while new players deserve to be ■■■■ on unless they immediately start doing as you say.
I see kids claim this, have never seen any evidence, ever. Not to mention, they’d just make a fresh alt to harass the n00bs, which CCP encourages, so until they start banning people’s mains in addition to alts, “Rookie Griefing” will never end.
Just looking at the latest economic report, high sec has absolutely nothing to do with the in game economy but high sec has everything to do with CCP’s income. Basically all they would be doing is offering a good non-pvp option for players who are not interested.
Also non-pvp players are the highest profitability as they buy all their isk using plex.
Oh and CCP, you might as well let capital ships into high sec, since most of the dps of those ships is locked to a low sec device. Then non-pvp players can enjoy the ownership of the ship and use them as mobile bases. Why give all these pvp players exclusive ships?
Oh and you pvp low sec players who print isk in low sec, who don’t contribute to CCP’s income, there are a whole lot of us high sec players who just want to fly around with your stuff in high sec. Admit that’s the real reason for your outrage.
botting gets you banned fast according to ccp and no one multiboxes 12 bots lol well not for long
lol
lol again
lol wont anyone think of the children what point is there in harassing new players they have nothing and know nothing there is literally no point to that, have you ever even seen or heard of a new player been griefed in reality outside of your own head, i would guess not.
you seem to be salty with something and i suspect a killmail is involved and so in the best traditions of the EVE online forums please post you lossmail for our pleasure.
I love how I make a totally reasonable request and it gets nothing but a bitter CSM carebear trolling it until CCP closes it. Then I make this post, half trolling, and I get 232 posts of nonsense… Why didn’t you all respond to my constructive post?
ohhhkaay so what are the carebears doing with all this magic they have bought? using it to run missions to earn isk mine to make isk etc. i dont get this you say pve players that almost entirely spend every waking hour grinding for isk alsl buy tons of isk ? what do they then spend it on if its not pvp.
what ? you already have orcas and bowheads and freighters what more do you need.
lol why dont you fly it around in low sec then where it is meant to be
I have three jars of the gamer girl bathwater: one sealed for display, one to try, and another one to try in ten years after it ages in my cellar, to see how its flavor characteristics develop over time.
By the way, if CCP ever wants to go down this route, I’m more than willing to put on the body suit and go to work, if the price is right. After years of pretending to be a girl in carebear corporations to get free stuff (I ain’t grinding no PvE to pay for my accounts), my “hey boys” is refined to the point of weaponization.
