CCP removes suspect flagging from Abyss sites!

And what if it was specifically designed as a hell hole for the risk averse solo PvE player?

It would make the PvP community happy and leave all them solo PvE players complaining, wouldn’t it? And CCP wouldn’t dare doing this, or would they?

I do believe you are whining and crying.

I don’t know where some people get the idea that PvE players want content that emulates PvP. That’s not only the stupidest thing I ever heard but it’s also the biggest lie being spread around here.

If PvE players actually wanted to do PvP content, they’d freaking be doing PvP. They definitely wouldn’t be asking for PvE content to emulate PvP.

WTF is the point of that? It doesn’t make your Killmail account look good. It cost’s you ISK to do it and gives very little reward.

Which is what it currently is and is the reason why the general PvE players won’t engage in it. Thus CCP has wasted more resources on content that the playerbase doesn’t like, just another CCP fail added to their long list of fails that has been steadily killing this game year after year.

it is too late to fill the gap pvp<—>pve. Nor it should be forced. Pure pvp games without pve content have short lifespans unless they are fps.

What makes you think everyone should get what they want?

If EVE was about giving everyone what they wanted then EVE would be long dead.

Why? Because EVE is dying again?

Guess then you’re just as shallow at thinking as he is.

I disagree, if CCP had done the opposite of what they’ve been doing for the past 6 years, this game would easily have well over 100k players online and still be growing.

No because pve is still god-like activity. You must have enough tank to survive waves of rats while pvp oriented fit is focused on webbing and scraming sacrificing other aspects. In other words they did not match with each other. Even when they created burners that mimic pvp they are solved puzzles now.
CCP had bad advisors for the time I had been here. Mostly from NS CSM members.

100k players of what kind? PvP or PvE? Quantity isn’t the same as quality and if this is about CCP’s finances again, and how they need to have 100k players to survive, then it’s just more “EVE is dying” talk.

If it was designed to be like this, it’s some of the worst design ever done in a game.
You don’t design your game to deliberately screw over your customers if you want to keep in business.

You can only guess, as you lack any ability to apply real thought.

And to the matter in hand.

I actually agree with Whitehound that the content is supposed to be difficult and risky, the people who explained it to me lost a number of ships to what they called the impossible spawn, can’t remember the name of it, but there is no way to beat it in the time. And they still went back to it.

However I think part of the reason they stopped is that they got the ships and modules that they wanted and the other is that they get better and more direct rewards in terms of Super / Titan ratting in nullsec. I expect that they will run the sites every so often and if the rewards are there for them they might do it to make ISK.

Another player wanted to do it, but when the lower level sites got their loot nerfed he decided to just continue VNI ratting and not bother with it. He had no desire to do the riskier sites.

Anyway my sole point is that I think it is a good thing that suspect baiting is being removed even on a temporary basis from hisec, however I doubt it will make much difference in the numbers of people running the sites from hisec, but it was an additional nasty bar for hisec people to get over when most people in nullsec enter close to Keepstars and Fortizars and are safe.

I’d agree with you if EVE was an average PvE MMO.

Funny to hear that from someone like you.

You might want to read your exchange with Whitehound again and then put my reply above into context. If you’re capable of it, that is.

They literally call the PvE sites dungeons in their internal coding and architecture. It is an average PvE MMO when it comes to the PvE. All the MMO’s are trying this kind of dynamically created content now, to increase time that people are kept in the game each update because it doesn’t get boring as fast. EVE is way way behind the curve on PvE gameplay.

Seriously?

And you are liking with your alts as well.

I take that as a “I’m incapable of that”.

Take that as me thinking that you are a sad dimwit. Whine and cry more please, I think that is how these forums work from what I can see. HTFU, is that another, git good and don’t fly what you can’t afford to lose.

and that kind of pve CCP should focus long time ago instead “group pve” and “pve that feels like pvp”.

What is the best part of abyssal space? Every time I enter it is different, there are no triggers, visuals are great.
