Most of the player base are your alts…

Doesn’t matter what kind of players, as long as CCP makes money and the game continues growing.

Fine. When that’s your attitude then don’t be surprised when you, being one of the kinds who don’t matter, gets content, which he doesn’t like. Because when the type of player one tries to attract no longer matters, then so will the content.

Not according to CCP. They claim players want immersive PvE. I don’t agree with that statement. Players want ISK printers. That is why Abysmal Space is failing as PvE content. As the other recent PvE content has failed.

Obviously the people directing this game have been listening to the wrong crowd, hence the constant decline in log in numbers.

Anyway, good luck with whatever point it is that you’re trying to make here.

Either CCP is lying or they’re listening to the wrong crowd.

I do PvE content and if I wanted to do PvP, I’d just do it. I definitely wouldn’t ask CCP to create PvE content that mimic’s PvP.

Bollocks.

How long have you been playing this game?

How is that relevant? The PCU numbers have been shared time and again on these forums and show steady numbers for a long time already. But of course you compare the numbers with the one time peak, just to make yourself think you are right so you can continu to scream Eve is dieing.

Heh, one time peak? If that’s the way you see it then you definitely haven’t been playing this game for very long.

Also it doesn’t matter what you say, you’re just plain incorrect.

When you look at the summer holes of 2016/17, with the summer holes being the lowest numbers on the chart, then EVE is actually gaining player numbers and despite the attacks on the servers.

Yeah, and when you look at the time span from 2009 to 2015 we had an average of 50k players online, compared to 2015 to present day that average has dropped at least 20k.

Sounds to me like you’re living in the past.

Immersive pve don’t contradicts making ISK, if done correctly they can be mutual. PvE content has failed in the past because CCP listen to the wrong crowd. Group pve? for real?

What is immersive PvE?

Certainly not NS anomalies. Abyssal space is the begining I think.

Ignoring the ‘what is it’ these statements are not mutually exclusive.
Yes players want isk printing options, but they also want them to be interesting options at the same time, and might even want them to be a test of skill.
The problem is as mentioned repeatedly, Abyss sites do not really test skill, well they do but only to a point. They primarily test luck of what RNG spawns you get given at the top end.
If there was a bailout option, testing luck would be fine, because then it becomes a test of skill to identify when you aren’t going to make it and to instead make it to your escape point at the cost of your loot.
But in a do or die situation, testing luck just sucks.

Where I say immersive (CCP choice of words) you should read “dangerous” pve, pve with a challenge. CCP has brought that in the form of FOB, Abysmal space and so on. And the pve players have shown they do not want that type of pve at all. Hence CCP should not listen to that crowd. Pve players in general just want isk printing machines. To those people CCP should listen.

who is winning?
