take a closer look and you will notiz how wrong you are xD
so it looks like you have the same weak understanding of this game
thats correct !
the reason you accept to get involved to any player combat action means its a full PvP game but as an MMORPG it need to have PvE parts ! still its completly a PvP game !
Don’t be silly. There’s no such thing as ‘minding your own business’ in a game like Eve. It’s on par with claiming to be playing tennis and ’ I was just minding my own business when the other player hit a ball in my direction’. The sort of silly statements you make leave me to conclude you are just trolling…as nobody could really be that clueless.
That is why we need HS Ganking and that opens up the door to find ways to fight back by mining even more and building the same items that are used to gank.
Where CCP has failed their players is not having a system from the beginning where the experience of losing a ship happens early, but also teaching the understanding that loss is a vital part of the overall game. I think that there is only one beginner mission where a player losing is guaranteed; the rest of the missions your losses are due to general unfamiliarity with the game mechanics or OI etc. Nowhere is there a training program to teach that loss is not only inevitable in EVE, but that it can happen even if you do everything “right”.
If CCP had new starter systems where nothing bigger than frigate class ships could be used, but all aspects like mining, mission running, exploration could be done but for little profit. Equipment costs would be much reduced than normal parts of EVE, so that ship replacement would not be a burden. They then could require a player to participate in arena/gated PvP to be able to leave these systems and be transferred to the current starter systems in only one of their ships… Have the requirement that either 3 wins or 7 losses automatically forces you out of the initial system and into the current starter systems. Experienced players would skate through with 3 wins in an extremely short period of time, while newer players could experience wins/losses. Even if the newer player only loses, he understands that after 7 losses, he will then be moved into a slightly deeper part of the EVE pool. There is no reason for experienced players to farm the system, since their will be little profit and after they win 3 times over new players, they get kicked out.
Until CCP helps train new players to accept loss as part of the game, the complaining will continue to be generated from newer players. There’s nothing I can think of to silence those more experienced complainers.
Kind of like keeping a tighter control on the situation that discourages older more experienced pilots entering such systems? Op out only by choice?
/So if say a pirate ganker wants in on that system with their pirate only option is to start a fresh pilot and chose to stay inside the bubble that allows them to PvP with the same ship class.
That’s what I think and believe in every fiber of my being.
“Ever played EvE Online?”
“What’s that?”
“Y’know, the ship-losing game.”
“Oh yea no. My doctor said to avoid stress and grief.”
